WM/Elec - Enjoying it, but no real "plan"

I've got a level 28 (highest I've taken a brute ever) WM/Elec Brute going that I'm really enjoying, but I haven't had a lot of luck in finding information for a leveling build and a final build.

Does anyone have links they'd consider relevant for this combination? I'm happy to post my build for critique, but since I know I'm just making it up as I go right now (and having fun), I thought I'd try this approach first.

There are guides for brutes stickied in this forum. You can find information about electric armor there.

For electric armor, you can either optimize it for +recharge such that you can use energize more frequently, or you can go for defense and stack with darkest night. I think you can tell us what you want to achieve for your brute, and maybe some specifics about your preference on power pools and patrons. We can suggest some builds for you.

For me, I'd say the recharge path with Energize ready to fire makes sense. I've got 3 sets of ToD I can pull from a Stalker I just don't care to play anymore. Patron wise, I'd prefer to avoid Dark since I'm about Dark'd out with other characters, although I'm sure with a decent argument I could be convinced to reconsider.

Also, I'm a pet junkie. If there's a a way to work in the PPP pet, all the better. May not be practical, but I wanted to throw it out there. In re-analyzing some old builds of mine, I see where I took powers I just don't use so I could have the pet, so I don't want to brute force it in there.

Here's a quick build for you, at a sweet spot between slotting for recharge and defense. I could have built for about 20% more recharge without going for purples, but your defense numbers would be about 10% lesser.

Oh, and ignore the order of power picks, I just went through the lists and picked the ones needed without any regard for an order that works well before 50.
