Did Paladin get a new end spot?

So I was flying around the north end of Kings Row today, and noticed a Paladin hanging out on a streetcorner well to the west of Paladin Park. He seemed to be happy as a clam there, going about his usual "This is where I will hang out until I despawn" routine.

Did Paladin decide that his old stomping grounds were played out? Did i17 give him a measure of freedom he hasn't experienced in some time?

Sometimes, when someone attacks them and runs away, they don't always return to the park area. Most often I'll see one up on the road to the east of the pit area rather than to the west.

I saw him yesterday in what sounds like the same place you're describing. He was standing in the middle of an intersection, and when I stopped to look at him, his entourage ran up to him from behind me, then realized they had passed through a taunt aura and came back, bringing the Paladin with them.

I think they may have changed him so that he doesn't gather in threes in the park any more. It would be nice if they just made him wander the city though. Makes more sense than wandering somewhere and then stopping.

Sure but good luck finding him. Maby if he was marked on the map.

I have seen 2 of them a good distance apart in the same area you describe, west of the old gathering point. They didn't appear to have been dragged there as they weren't trying to make it back to the park area. I suppose it's time to test dragging one away and see if he returns to the new spot.
What would be a neat change is if they would follow a route walking around KR, like the non-Vale Croatoa monsters.

Since I had some spare time and I was flying around that end of King's Row anyway, I did a little surveying.

Here are the approximate locations that Paladin will end up in KR, as of I17:

350 -42.5 -2500
150 -42.5 -1800
1200 -42.5 -1800

Looks like there are more than 3 end points then as I just took a look and there were Paladins at 2 of the above listed locations, and a third Paladin at
32.0 -42.0 -1570

The previous time I looked there were 2 Paladins at the 350 -42.5 -2500 location.

Definitely makes running around High Park a little more exciting now.
