Storage suggestion

Give us access to a high volume storage container but, anything put in said container (salvage, recipe, enhancement) would be bound to the account. This would allow characters to store high volumes of items, without making price-fixing any easier (not saying player v. market should go away here!!). Nothing would change about existing storage containers.

Further elaboration of the suggestion:

Salvage put in the contain would be bound, but anything made with it would not be bound.

Recipes put in the contain would be bound and so would the subsequent enhancement made from this recipe.

What would people think of this as a possible storage solution?

You'll have a hard time finding anyone that doesn't want more storage, but the devs are dead set against the idea.

They flat out don't want us to have any recipe storage other than what we can put in the market or carry on our characters, and they reduced the amount of salvage we could put into SG Salvage Bins from 2,500 to 30.

As far as they are concerned there is no storage problem. Good luck with your idea tho.

I have always been under the impression the reason for the storage restrictions was because it put a limit on the ability (or perhaps convenience is a better term here) of marketeers. Perhaps I am mistaken in that premise though.

My biggest issue with it is having anything "bound." Not sure if it can be done here in that way, but aside from that, I *hate* bound items with a passion.

could always, and i know this sounds bad, start your own private sg and store your stuff there.

The term the devs used was hoarding, and that can be done individually or as a group. Take a look at base salvage for example. It's an item that no longer has any real use in the game yet people are still hoarding them just so they can have a complete set.
