Fire/Cold
I've never used a Fire/Cold char, but I'm not sure how well Cold would go with Fire, since theres not alot to help your Imps out. I'm not sure how well dropping the res will help them, maybe it will increase your imps damage a bit
I do have an Ice/Cold at level 50, which is great if you like slowing things
double post! sorry
I have one, but he's still low level. Slowing things is not really a big draw of this combo, because Fire is a damage-dealing set and you want Containment from Fire Cages pretty much 24/7. It's hard for me to predict how this combo will work out. I'm guessing I will have trouble keeping the imps alive but will have endless endurance to spam powers.
Shields and FW on all three imps makes them pretty robust. As mentioned though in order to maximize containment you need to negate the knockdown of sleet.
Unfortunately arc fog doesn't give typed defense, so it doesn't play as nicely with the epic shields as it could, but that said, both cold and stone mastery are easy enough to gain very high s/l def with and both provide a "heal".
fire/cold/ice and fire/cold/stone can both be very tough and very offensive as well. Having unlimited endurance to fuel fire control and fissure spam makes the latter combo very desirable imo.
The problem is (imo) getting high def and high recharge on the combo without breaking the bank.
I'll have to give /stone a try, then.
Should be a hoot!

Just started one, and, looking through the powers, it looks awesome.
At least 6 powers that slow, including Hot Feet.
Wow.
Nothing goes anywhere any time.
But other than that...
Is it still worth it?
Grinding all the levels I need to make this amazing?
