No, but you keep your powers up to 5 levels above the level you are exemplared to. So at level 15 you get powers through level 20.

This was the aftermath of the 8 man Posi. Sad that leader blamed the 10-20 team mates in the TankHQ channel and a lvl 19 Tank finished on his own with no more than 3 deaths as my Debt is gone as well.

Wow, sounds like you had a rough run, but way to stick it out! That's "Tank Tough".
I had fun running with the team I was on. The only regret I had was not being able to join them for the 2nd part of the TF. We finished the first one in and hour and a half. So, I'm sure the 2nd one would have been equally enjoyable. Thanks to all my teammates for a fun TT.

sounds like that was the group i was in.
nah, couldn't have been. leader wasn't complaining about anyones skill, and everyone died at least twice
didn't wanna leave, but after 8 deaths at the door and not even getting an attk in because each time i stepped in i was held and beaten too a pulp, it just became no fun. ( up till that point it was great fun ).
ok.. i know, i need more hold resistance.. but that was ridicules.
so.. next tanker tuesday is on a different server ?
and is there a tanker chat ?
Yeah, our group was in trouble. Sorry I had to leave early but sometimes life gets in the way of CoH. :-/

The reason I bugged out is because, crap, how much can I die and pretend it's still fun. How many times did I go to AE and buy fifteen Luck [actually, that was only twice.]
Though I was the first to see the Shadow versions of us and I think I triggered that dialog to get them to show.
I desperately wanted to get my katana/wp. I'd just go in and then tell you guys when it was clear.

I know we started with 3 good sized Posi Teams...
My squad of 7 finished in about 1:51 for the first half.
4 of us stayed to run the second half, 3 of us finished it at about 2:20.
Ruin Mages suck. 3-4 Ruin mages in a group really suck.
But I regained by badging throne with those 2 badges, leapfrogging Cinnamon again and standing tall at 772 (and 657 red side).
Thanks to every on that showed up, and especially those that ground it out.
Next month is Almost Sexy Tanker Tuesday #68.
July will be Sexy Tanker Tuesday #69.

I was on Warboss' team and we faceplanted multiple times at the door and in the lobby during the first half but we stuck it out through some bad lag for me and a run to AE for purps. Our dopplegangers didn't fair too well. They got a couple of teammates but we managed to take them out pretty easy.
I believe 5 of us hung around for part two and we completed both parts in a total of about 3 hours, which I didn't think was too bad. Some folks were a little worried about Doc V in the last mish but I had done it on a 3 person team while playing two of the toons myself so I knew we could get it.
Good teams for both runs. Nog taunted our way out of some bad situations and took some licks for those of us running lowbies. Everybody pulled their weight with no complaints. Heck, no one even complained about my dumb wise cracks...at least not in chat that I could read...

I still had my "Nectar" power from Val's Day. AoE Confuse, and it was super effective =)
Shame it was of limited use against the Ruin Mages.

my main tank is on freedom, and i got a baby sheild'r i've been wanting to play on justice ( i'll have to work on levelin' him up in my spare time, which i'll do now that i have reason )

I regret anything I said that caused anyone any pain; that was not intended. But I was not having fun at all by that time. And it was my understanding that the TF disbanded by general consensus that it could not be completed and wasn't fun any more.
I wouldn't blame anybody but myself: rather than a team of eight we should have run two teams of four. Then again, that was my first time running the new version, and in future tries I'm not taking more than three or four. If there's a magic strategy for getting past the door, I don't know what it is.
