"Final Objective" Arrows not working

I'm in the middle of an empty "defeat all" mission. Every hall, nook, and cranny has been searched. There is no red arrow and there are no arachnoids to be seen.

I've sent in a bug report but am curious to know if anyone else is having this problem.

(For the record, this is on Justice - Red side.)

Well, it is only going to show up if only one enemy is remaining. So maybe there are two! I am not being much help though. Make sure you didn't miss a hallway though, those arachnoid layers can be hard to scout (though, seeing that you are posting on the forums, I am guessing you searched it pretty hard).

Sorry I don't have much useful to say!

No worries.

Yeah, I searched hard, including running up and down each side of each tunnel to make sure I didn't miss anything. Now I'm on another kill-all with arachnoids on the same exact map (though in a totally different location) and again, not a critter to be seen and no helpful red arrow (I can see maybe missing one mob, but 2 after being so thorough? I can't imagine it.) and no blue "Mission Complete".

I'm currently waiting my usual 15 minutes for a GM to show up. If there is no joy, I'll go back to flashback missions for a while. lol

question is what mission from what story arc?

I remember there was a bugged defeat all mission I did, that couldn't be completed pre i17... Family on a ship springs to mind

By any chance is this a Newspaper mission?

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Clarification and Update:

The missions are from Terrence Dobbs and Westin Phipps, respectively.

The one from Terrence is "Defeat all Arachnoids" while the one from Westin (a thoroughly despicable chap, mind you) is "Eradicate Arachnoid Nest". They both supply mission arcs in Grandville for villains level 40-44.

I finally heard from a GM. 3.5 hours after my first report and 40 minutes after my second. Long story short, since I'd left the missions and gone back to flashbacks I could not be helped. I had hoped for a magic "complete mission" button but alas, it was not to be.

Now, I know that GM's are insanely busy today. I get that and respect it. Having spent most of my working life (except for a blessedly brief stint in fast food as a teen) in "Customer Service" I know what it's like to be so busy I barely have time to breathe and have customers freaking out because they had to wait on hold so I am _very_ considerate of those from whom I am seeking "customer service". That being said, I was a bit frosted that I had to repeat everything in my ticket from the name of the contact, to the mission name to what had happened. No one survives in customer service for long if they don't learn to read trouble tickets before contacting the customer. After all, they ask for us to provide the information to make it easier and faster for the rep to help. It's like punching your phone number in when you call the cable company so your account can be pulled up by the rep only to have to give them your phone number so they can pull your account up when you get a real person on the line. *sigh* Venting over.

So anyway, no magic button exists so stay in the mission until the GM gets to you or your hair goes gray. Or until you're fed up enough to use the once-every-3-days mission drop option just to get it out of your sight, or save some poor GM from your screams of insanity induced by staring at the web strewn walls of a small and easily mapped tunnel system empty of everything but the dim echos of your voice mumbling about the bugs crawling in the walls and singing kumbaya by the light of their tiny camp fires... What?

So it's not an issue of the "Final Objective" arrows not working. BOTH missions are bugged! ARG!

Move along. Nothing to see here, citizens.
