Wait, didn't you just post two days ago asking if you should make a fire/kin or fire/rad? You got it to 50 in two days?

Ahhhh, that makes sense.

Was it not IO'd already? Or is it THAT old?

As you can see, there's lots of different and successful fire/kin builds. All you do "really" need is the soft-capped s/l defense. The rest of the build should focus on the fastest way (and safest) to kill a mob, which is what mine does.

First thing to know is when farming, FS will (or should) keep your dmg capped the entire way if you're moving fast enough from mob to mob. With that in mind, you should slot your 3 best dmg dealing powers accordingly.

Hotfeet with all procs. Its the only way you can increase its dmg past the cap. Some might scream about the end cost and yes its high. But with a solid attack chain, transference will be up often enough to keep you going. Firecages, slot for ACC and get the GravAnch proc in there. And fissure, the +Rech proc is a must and slot for stun. No need for dmg enhs in there due to FS capping your dmg!

The rest...is really debatable so long as you have that 45% s/l defense.

Good luck!

I'm calling shenanigans on the OP.

She has a post like this in every single archetype forum.

"what is the most powerful brute"

"what is strongest tanker"

"well, I want to be ready for GR, and I need a good build too, Inf is no object"

Seriously, if you have more than one fifty, you should know this stuff, or at least know how to go about finding the information.

Dark Armor is like that kid you knew in school that didn't know when to shut up, and no matter how bad he got beaten down, he got right back up again and kept on talking.

Just remember these things, reguardless of IO's and new fangled this's and thats:
6 slot powers you use most often and powers you love.
Every little bit of defense helps.
Don't be afraid to pick a power if it isn't popular if you love it.
It's your 15 bucks.
Trial and error and practice helps you find out what works.
If you like to RP, then do so and have fun doing it. If the characters concept says they have such and such power or that they do not have it, then so be it, even if it is redundant, different, etc.

My 2 cents also says basicly you want to maximize your core powers:
The Heal, The endurance giving power, Fire cages, Flash Fire, Fulcrum...
Make sure they hit!

Have fun and remember that crafting your build yourself is cheaper (sometimes) than buying it all precrafted!
