3-boxing Demons?
IF your going to solo then Demon Storm. But if your in a group forget it, unless they know you. I do not see many players who have the patience for storm or are willing to somewhat cooperate by pulling or herding into areas ( corners ) that can be used by Storm more effectively.
I think Demon FF x 2 is over kill a bit. Will it get you all the defenses you need, sure and then some. But I run with less defenses on a defender and solo +1 +8 content. I have a robot FF that would have been closer to cap if I didn't have my PvP button enabled in mids during the build. Again which has minimal problems.
I think running with 3 Demons you will have no issues. I would go for maybe Pain x 2 and one FF. double heals, double ress. All 3 are group friendly. Double debuffs and buffs from some of the pain powers.
Or go Dark, FF, Pain. The AOE heal of Dark is superior, but has the target issue. Mine does miss sometimes and requires me to use a Accuracy enhancer at times against AVs. The Defense buffs and hit debuffs of Dark with FF will make it VERY hard for AVs to hit you along with the henchmen. Pain does help with the heals when Dark heal fails to go off. FF is nice when combined with Darkest Knight and Shadow fall.
Again Dark, FF, Pain another group friendly Trio.
I played in a all storm SG long ago. The basic tactic was everyone who had O2 would spam the player who was the designated puller. Which was usually a Dark spec player. We learned and would teach newer SG members how we used Hurricane to hold mobs into corners without getting close enough to spit mobs out. Between the Freezing Rain chains that we would apply and the Lighting Storms. Everything would just die in the corner in seconds. But again we were all Storm so we had the patience. I don't think many players do though and do not want to be bothered with doing any sort of setup to pull mobs, when they are so used to running in to do a smash and grab.

if you wanted to tribox, i suggest:
demon/trap, demon/pain, demon/ff
pain and FF can be passive and allow you to actively set traps and such
Both are interesting options. I like both /Dark and /Traps, and I guess either one would work well with /FF and /Pain. Hrm.
Maybe I should make 2 different demon 3-box teams, one for hero side and one for villain. One team could be Traps/Pain/FF and the other could be Dark/Storm/FF. It's probably overkill. I dunno.
Man now I feel more stumped than ever. Heh.

All,
I am thinking of a 3-box team of Demon Summoners. I'm trying to decide which would be better:
(a) Demon/Storm x3
(b) Demon/Pain x3
(c) Demon/Pain, Demon/Force Field, Demon/Force Field
The first option would be chaos incarnate. The second option would have regeneration and healing and damage resistance out the wazoo, but I would have to manually provide myself status protection. The third option would be more of an auto-pilot option and the defenses would layer well with the demons, and I'd have mez protection while still having heals.
Which of these 3 options do you think I should do, and why?
Thanks,
Lewis
