Could the COH CCG be worked/integrated into the game?
Sounds interesting... not sure how well it'd play out, but it's interesting.

There's also a discussion on the Paragonwiki forum about expanding Pwiki's CCG coverage.

Did the cards have any rares that gave in-game items for the computer game? WoW does this with great effect.
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
I would play it, if it came with a tutorial of sorts. I look at the demo decks, see instructions like "After a character targets an attack power, discard 1 of Tricksie’s powers: Redirect the attack to another legal target that is not already a target of the attack." and I just sit here scratching my head wondering what the heck does that all mean.

Thanks to @EnsonsDeath for the GVE code that made me VIP again!
I think the biggest hurdle would be programming the whole card game 'emulator' in. That can't be terribly easy or time-efficient.
That said, as a cool little minigame, I do like the idea. Especially since they could adapt the card maker as well so you could put your own characters into your decks.

I've actually suggested the NCSoft buy AEG's half of the rights for the CoH/V CCG and put it online before.
Just an odd idea I had as a friend of mine was asking about forms of PVP that don't involve combat. Aside from a rock-paper-scissors tournament or playing "tag" in the arena, I drew a blank.
I remember the old game (never really got to play it). All that work was put into creating it - the rules, the art, everything. It would be a bit of a shame if nothing else was done with it.
To be honest, even just having the cards in-game and letting the players keep track of the rules and such might be "good enough."
It could be an influence sink, too. Not a big one, obviously, but could be fun.
I am keeping in mind I've no idea what kind of legal or technical hurdles would have to be jumped, so I'm not going to assume its easy or easily doable.
