WATER AFFECT: Verticle?

Has anyone been able to get the water affect to display in a verticle manner?

I'm trying to recreate this and I could use some tips:

In fact yes. It seems waterfalls are becoming popular. How its done I'm not sure but someone will be along shortly.

If you check Turbo Star's Space Station View, he hinted at one of his waterfalls, using a SG flag. It was on one of the last pages.

You need to have permissions to edit your Supergroup colors. Change both colors to a light blue, the same exact color.

Then place Supergroup Banners. Ideally, use the Wall Banners, and using some lofted cubicles actually place the banners BACKWARDS so the logo is facing away.

When both colors are a light blue, the 'paper' texture of the banner should resemble water. You use the back of the banner so you don't get the solid non-textured supergroup symbol showing up.

Afterwards, switch your supergroup colors back. The banners should stay blue unless you a) place another banner of the exact same type or b) move the last banner placed.

I'll have to look into that Ninja. I'd tossed around a few ideas to get a "watery" effect placed vertically behind my stargate but didn't think to try banners.

And I'm guessing the link American Angel provided is blocked to anyone outside the States since I get a "403 Forbidden" message when I try to follow the link. I'm guessing from the title of the jpeg though, that Angel is looking to do the same thing I am, heh.

And as a side note, what did you use to create your stargate Angel? I did mine the somewhat lazy way and just used floor safes. If there's something better, I'd be interested to know and maybe borrow your idea (if I may)

I make waterfalls using glass SG pieces. There's ways to compensate for the emblems. Either hide them or change/theme them.

With the new changes to "slow" fields, it no longer looks this way. but this is what my waterfall looked like prior to i17.
