What would a COH version of this look like?

Dark_Respite, I wasn't trying to say your videos were "low quality" (though I apologize if that's how my post came across); I've seen several of your videos, and I've enjoyed most of them. My only problem with the video you linked to in this thread was the overdone comedic formula, not the "technical" aspects of it. Your videos are still far superior than anything I or many other players are capable of producing, and that's something to be proud of.

Maybe they should tap someone else other than the Rooster Teeth folks? The videos are very "them"-ish (or at least as I recall from Captain Amazing or whatever his name was).

Maybe Felicia Day and "The Guild"? Or Gabe & Tycho at Penny Arcade?

And, they did bring up the risk of getting your account stolen, which Samuriko did not. Neither brought up the possibility of your credit card being used without your consent afterwords.

I don't know about you, but if all that money (fines and chargebacks) could've gone into game development? That's a pretty compelling argument/reason for the community encourage everyone not to deal with RMT folks. You're literally hurting the game - not in a theoretical way that can be argued/dismissed (economy, game balance, etc).

edit: Hmm... maybe that'll be a good, player-run contest... make the best anti-RMT PSA, COH-style!

I like this idea! Heck even mix it up with Marketing contact Black Pebble use the PSAs both as Anti-RMT but also advertisement for CoH. Could air the Winners at the Cons.

S'okay, apology accepted. I'm just stuck in the nadir of depression and despair these last few weeks.
