My friend recently restarted his old account but when he logged into the game everything was completely dark as if the gamma was very low and certain objects were flashing black stripes. I think that I have had this issue before and found a solution but if someone could point me in the right direction that would be helpful seeing as my search came up fruitless. He is running an NVIDIA so it is not the GTI problem and all of his specs are pretty close to top of the line. He is also running windows 7 but I distinctly recall having the exact same issue on my old computer which was using XP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the video drivers are out of date. they need to be changed.

So updating my drivers helped me alot it got the game looking the way it should, now the only problem that i am having is its taking a really long time to load up the screen to log in and when it actually gets to that screen i kinda lags alittle, then i get to character selection and it lags some more and at that point i cannot even log into the game it takes so long, would anyone happen to know what is going on there?

Okay, a little more info, somethings that should be white-ish are instead gray.... Cubical walls, filing cabinets, clouds in the sky, and most annoyingly instead of white mist I get something like a Fog of War from a RTS. This is my first experience of CoH on a PC instead of my mac... So I'm not sure of what to do. *grrr*
