EM/SR - Few questions

Well, I wanted to make a brute, and I had an idea for a toon in game that would work with this build. My questions,

How would he be in survivabilty early and late game?

Would he be an end pig early, mid, late game? Or all three?

My main concern is with End. I have a 50 SS/Shield brute that I hate playing as because of his lack of survivability and end problems.

Will this brute be as bad?

50's (Only most important)
Zuraq (53 EM/SR Brute)
Stagmalite (50 Granite/Fire TanK)
(Couple of other's I don't care about.)

I have a 46 Energy Melee/WP tanker, so I can talk about EM at least. I also have a em/sr brute but it's only 25, and has been pretty much 'meh' compared to the other SR brute I'm leveling (fire melee).

For survivability, EM is fantastic against small spawns even without defense toggles running. Even bosses spend more time stunned than not I find. When soloing my tanker only runs the mez protection, rise to the challenge, and focussed accuracy.

As for endurance... my tanker is always out of end. Always. Even with stamina and quick recovery getting me to a 3.8 recovery rate. I'm not sure how much of that is because of the 1.35 consumption of his toggles (damn you focussed accuracy six slotted with gausians (I think? the one that gives 2.5% defense against ranged as it's six slot), but ET and TF make me want to weep when they miss, since they're MOST of the tankers ST damage). My low level em/sr is ALSO popping blues every time they drop if I dare to do something like run my defense toggles. The energy melee always out of power could be user error, though, so a numbers person might be able to help more. But anecdotally ... yeah 'pink pom-pom warrior need end badly' has been my experience so far.

Weight training: Because you'll never hear someone lament "If only I were weaker, I could have saved them."

Energy melee has typical endurance usage for the damage it does, like stone axe mace and pre-rage SS, except that energy transfer is more endurance efficient than most other attack. ET is actually the most endruance efficient attack available to brutes (not counting dark consumption or consume). Anyone that has trouble with endurance on energy melee will likely have trouble on any other attack set.

Unfortunately, SR is one of the brute secondaries that is on the thirsty side. There is no way to recover endurance outside of some clever slotting. EM isn't the most end/ heavy primary available, but I don't think it matches very well with SR. If it matches your theme- cool. Otherwise, look at another combo. DM/SR is great and has much more synergy than EM/SR. I have one at 50 that I tried to like, but I just can't get with it.

Words to the wise aren't necessary- it's the stupid ones that need them.
