Same issue...For some reason I can connect once but after I logout and try to connect 5-10 minutes later then the updater doesn't know what to do.....weird.
Happend twice now on 2 days after the patch was installed.
French here, same. A belgian friend told me he had the same problem.
Edit : We have exactly the same bug : we can start the game, even though the updater is really slow (it tries to connect, then check for updates... takes up to 1 min where it usually is less than 1sec). Once the game is launched, it takes me ages to connect my account, ages to select a server, and I still haven't been able to "Enter the city" with a toon, most of the time I can't select the server.
After todays downtime ive had problems getting my updater to connect, seems to take forever. And seems to be stuck saying connecting while counting up all the time
Not sure if its to do with the EU client servers or not that are causing this issue but never had this problem yesterday.
