Some Random Crash help please

Hi - My game started to crash and it seems to be getting progressively worse. It seemed to get worse around 3 updates ago but can not be sure. It used to crash once a session and then behave. Now it is just being plain naughty.

This is what I am currently running:
Windows 7 - 64bit
Intel Core2 Duo CPU T7700 @ 2.4GHz
4Gig of mem
Duo SLI capable NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT

I have dropped my settings to performance, I have tried running in and out of SLI mode. Currently running out of SLI. IT seems to happen mostly when the game goes under load like the system is processing something about to occur. Buuuut it has also crashed while zoning to other areas, zoning into a mish, or even about to click on a glowing. I think this is the looping sound bug that I have heard about because my sound does start to repeat and loop. Looking at some of this info, it would seem my sound drivers are out of date but I am unable to find anything newer. Everything newer I find is not compatible.

Here is my cohhelper.log and hijackthis.log.

Any help is appreciated!

Dell finally updated there drivers for the audio. I went from 9/7/2007 version 6.10.0.5609 updated to 9/13/2007 version 6.10.0.5614. Havent had a chance to test anything....hopefully tonight after work.

Anything else I might try or anyone sees?

With increasing number of crashes, I would also look for hardware that might be failing.
I would for a start suggest, that you also check the temperatures of your CPU and GPU. It might be that dust has been building up inside, and it starts overheating.

Well...I made sure that there was no dust build up on the fans and used compressed air to blow them out. I crashed twice last night. Once while fighting and again just standing around and then when I tried to move it crashed.

I have had no problems playing fallout 3 so I dunno...its frustrating...

I'm curious as to where you got the video driver you are using, I looked through Dell's web site and couldn't find a Win 7 video driver for that laptop you're using. Did the crashes start shortly after the upgrade to Win 7, or the change in video drivers? I'm wondering if there is some oddity between that driver, your laptop and OpenGL which is causing the crashes.
You might want to watch this post at Laptop2go, its about someone who can't get their video drivers installed on a Dell M1730. If you haven't tried it you can check out Laptop2Go's driver search and see what they have for your laptop.
Good luck, hopefully someone with more experience with laptops will stop off in this thread with advice.

Thanks for the link eislor I will check it out. Thats where I got my video drivers from and had no problem installing them...at least it appears to have all installed correctly. When I jumped to win7 Dell hadnt release any drivers for my lappy but they have now. Maybe I should just do another fresh install and updates and see how that goes....I dunno....

The game was crashing when I had xp installed for a few months ago. I figured I would go ahead an make the jump to win7 but it still crashed at least once a session. It was just about 2 patches ago....I think...is when it got worse...multiple crashes in each session....

Sounds like the issue my friend has with laptop, you might wanna check to see if your ram and vid memory are being shared or not. If they are, there's likely a good chance its causing memory issues that lead to crashing anytime you put a load on your RAM (clicking the market/trainers/stores...moving after being inactive for a period of time, etc).
