I had heard something about Vanguard swords and can see them on the listing when I go to craft my Broadsword.
Having earned my Ru' blade, I can say for certain I cannot equip a Ru katana or dual blade.
As DB, you might have better luck.

Currently I'm hunting overseers in my spare time with my katana. I can't get my black-eyeball katana?

My BS/SR scrapper has the Rularuu sword. But I do not have the Rularuu Katana or DB weapon.
But the Rularuu Broadsword looks quite nice. And it's huge.

BaB said he would work on allowing some customizations currently exclusive to Katana, Broadsword, and/or Dual Blades to be used the the other sets. So you could use a Rularru Katana as your Broadsword, and so on. Still in the works, I believe.
I would really like to get the big Arabian scimitar Broadsword for Dual Blades.

I know there was a recent change that allowed dual blades characters to equip two vanguard broadswords, but did that change open up all rularru weapons as well? Can a dual blades scrapper now use the rularru katana and broadsword if they have the badge?
