Ever watch the old movie 'Capricorn One'? For those of you youngsters who weren't watching movies in the 70's it's about a manned mission to Mars that gets staged. When the astronauts won't go along with the plot they then have to stage an 'accident' and, of course, eliminate the astronauts.

It's not so much when they "won't go along with the plot" as when they realise that the plot has changed to mean they need to die to maintain the illusion. (The accident comes first - heat shielding failure iirc)

Funnily enough it was on UK terrestrial TV last week - though in the early 80s it was one of the first films I had recorded on my family's first VCR. I must have seen Capricorn One and China Syndrome at least 100 times each...

Yeah, that was it. That's what I get for trying to remember the plot of a movie I haven't seen in 30 years...
