Not working happily on my iMac. Alt-Tab and returning to the game causes instant crash. Whole screen goes brownish-grey. Mouse works, nothing else. Have to Alt-Tab back out and force quit.

Used to be able to go in and out without a problem as long as I kept to only one or two programs running in the back.

Full screen mode? What model (gpu primarily) iMac?

I'm running the 2007 Aluminium iMac with the ATi HD2600 and I'm having similar problems.

If I hit CMD-Return or CMD-Tab out it goes to the desktop fine but when I try to bring CoH back up it goes black. I also need to quit to get it to run again.

Very annoying. Not sure if it's Apple's side that needs fixed or an update to the client, hope someone looks into this.

Well, it was never an issue for me until I installed this patch. I used to jump in and out all the time to get build information off the forums and research stuff on the wiki wile selling and buying and respeccing. Now, I can't do anything but the game. I'll try that CMD-Return though.

@Pum 2007 24-inch aluminum iMac. Same as West Witch.

Edit: @Manga: Doesn't work for me either, same as West Witch. I can CMD-Return out, but gong back in the game is solid black and non-responsive. Have to forcequit and reboot.

Does it do that every time or just sometimes? I do get an occasional black screen/lockout when switching back and forth that's due to memory corruption in the Mac client, but it's not every time.

4 for 4 on my trials using CMD-Return. over 20 for 20 on CMD-tab (not counting but it's been a lot).

Same for me. No matter if it's Cmd-Tab or Cmd-Return. I've had no issues until 10.6.3 was released.

Very annoying bug, traps you to the game and nothing else. Please make the devs aware CuppaManga

I actually haven't had time to play in a few days, with i17 out and Mac had a security patch since this thread, is this issue still around? Anyone know? If not I might have time tonight to test and see if i17 made it magically vanish, which would be cool.
