Please help me maximize my AM+Hasten+PA

Hello all

I realize this is old hock and has been discussed many times, but my search-fu is weak(sauce). I'm playing a Ill/rad controller and need some help with the combination of Accelerate metabolism, Hasten and Phantom Army. I'm not slotting for purples or I/O's yet, and so far I'm constrained to using DOs and So's. I'm also not under the illusion that I will be able to perma PA yet. My goal at the moment is only to maximize how i'm using the three so that cool down time is at a minimum. right not I'm trying out two different strategies. The first is to run with AM independent of PA and Hasten and just use that whenever it's available and then hasten immediately after PA. This seems to give me about 35 seconds downtime with PA and about one and a half minutes with AM. The other strategy is that use AM and hasten immediately after PA, which seems to give me a tad less cool down on PA and about minute on Hasten and AM. I've also tried to juggle AM and hasten so that when one goes down I'm using the other immediately and then using PA as available. Can't tell you the numbers on that one tho.

My question is for anyone experienced with running these which of them (or other ways you know of and I don't) is the best to maximize AM and PA? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

the best slotting you can do with SOs on those IMO would be to 3 slot each of them with rech reductions

Sorry my fault, I wasn't being clear I guess. The question isn't about slotting (though I realize I made strong reference to it - I thought it would help giving specific info on that). I actually do have them all three slotted already for recharge.

The question was more about how to use the three in combo to maximize cooldown time with them. Sorry for the confusion.

i would prolly put hasten or AM on auto (i put hasten on auto with my sonic/rad which has hasten since it has a non-rooting and fastyer activating time)

then i usually click AM whenever its up (i keep it at the last slot in the power bar so its not in the way of the attack powers)

since PA will be part of your attack chain you would definitly want that in an easy to use location on the power bar

Well, it's important to time hasten and PA according to the groups your fighting rather than trying to purely focus on minimizing down time. Just test different methods in the field and see what works.

If you have hasten to where it's perma, then having it on auto is nice. But I wouldn't do it before then.

I wouldn't put AM on auto because you want to be sure that your phantasm or teammates get it as well.

I think you mean "minimize" cooldown time. You want those powers up as much as possible.

Assuming standard slotting, Ideally you want to fire off Hasten, AM and then cast Phantom Army at the start of a battle. Hasten and AM buff each other, so if the fight goes on longer, you can cast them again. The only effect AM will have on PA is the Recharge buff . . . you'll need RI and EF to buff PA's accuracy and damage. If the fight is almost over, you may want to save activating all three until the next battle.

Personally, I leave Hasten on Auto as I often forget to cast it, but that is not ideal. I have an easy bind for AM, with a macro to call teammates in for the buff.
