Returning Thugs / Dark MM - Looking for Build Review and Suggestions
First of all you discovered you need to use the Titan boards format in the export selection from Mids.
I like to take Howling Twilight somewhere around level TEN on my /dark villain builds. You are not able to resurrect minions but the AUTOHIT low mag stun, slow, and regen debuff are there from the beginning - no teammates required.
I would four slot darkest night, I would even use 3 DOs for endurance to start with, but after the single origins are available, you should be able to get away with one end redux and 3 tohit debuffs.
Shadow fall is such a good power. I would suggest slotting for resistances before defense, and mostly because shadow fall provides psy attack damage resistance. The knockback protection in Shadow fall is nice.
Dark Servant needs more tohit debuff. He has one power that holds, and almost all his powers do to hit debuff.
I almost always 6 slot first tier pets, the second tier needs more damage. Bruiser is fine for generics.
Others are better at suggesting pet slotting. I tend to franken slot to maximize accuracy and damage.

HelinCarnate:OMG it is so terrible. I have the option to take 3 more powers but no additional slots. Boo F'ing hoo.
It's been while since I've played my Thugs/Dark heavily, but let me see what I can remember.
Call Thugs - You just need Acc and Damage. Three Hami-Os if you can afford 'em, could probably do 4 slots with two IO Acc and two IO Dam. I also put the +Def and +Res uniques in here in favor of a full set of the higher level Recharge Intensive Pets (the name escapes me right now, (something) Reinforcement, I think).
Twilight Grasp - 4 or 5 from Touch of the Nictus.
Tar Patch - two recharge.
Darkest Night - 4 from Dark Watcher's Despair
Empty Clips - 5x Posi, Ragnarock proc.
Enforcers - three Acc/Dam hami-os, two Tohit/Defense hami-os, Achilles Heel proc
Shadowfall - LotG global recharge, Kismet +6% tohit, Aegis Res/End, Aegis Status-effect resistance, Aegis Resistance, Karma KB protection... if I'm remembering that right.
Howling Twilight - recharge
Health - Numina's unique and Heal, Miracle unique and Heal
Stamina - 4 from Performance Shifter including the proc.
Fearsome Stare - full set of Glimpse of the Abyss
Petrifying Gaze - I ended up skipping this one but I might well reconsider if/when I get 'round to another respec. I'd love to have enough slots for a full set of Lockdown in there.
Bruiser - 3 Acc/Dam hami-os, Soulbound's chance for build-up, Force Feedback proc... I think a smashing damage proc as well.
Dark Servant - 2 recharge, 2 to-hit debuff, 2 Acc/Mez hami-os
From the patron pools I only took an armor which is mainly a mule for all three from Steadfast Protection. I took Maneuvers (4x LotG), Tactics (just 2 slots from Gaussian's as I recall), and Vengeance (LotG global recharge).

Not sure how helpful that really is, but perhaps it'll give you an idea.

I am sorry to point out that the Force Feedback proc in Bruiser is doing nothing for you since the +Recharge procs no longer work on pets, neither mastermind, controller, nor storm pets.

So I've been running this update for a bit, all slotted except for a couple of the Recharges, and I'm digging it for the most part. Playstyle-wise, however, I find I *really* miss Soul Tentacles.
Post-i19, assuming inherent fitness looks anything like I think it should it my head, I could definitely see borrowing a slot from Tar Patch and two from HT to give me the ability to 4-slot Tentacles with Enfeebled Operations, or if I pull a slot from Thugs and slot with an HO instead, going with 5 slots of Gravitational Anchor for some additional cheap-recharge and immob.

I think the villain patron AoE immobilize powers are very useful on masterminds. I have many with either the tentacles or the Black Scorpion AoE immobilize. All your alts are receiving two freespecs with the inherent fitness change for your primary and alternate builds. If you have current freespecs or vet specs in hand you could test it out on the test server.

Since we're in i19 with Inherent Fitness and Incarnate abilities, I wanted to brush off The Hood. As I'd mentioned above, I really want to get my Immob back.
However, I'm running out of slots just moving stuff around, and I've got powers that are optional-but-underslotted (Tough/Weave). I'd like to get some slots on the immob, and I'm pretty much sold on the Musculature tree for Alpha. All IO's listed are currently slotted so I'm not out any cash currently.

I've been away about 1.5 years but recently returned to the game. I've got a 50 Thugs/Dark MM that I thoroughly enjoy, but I suspect he needs some changes as the game has evolved.
Here are a few notes I'd like to throw out there as part of a redo:
1) Love the AE content thus far, but would like more to do. A fair chunk of missions seem to have a level 20 cap, which really limits my powers. Working a pistol attack into this range would be nice, but may not be ideal.
2) I find myself soloing a fair amount, but not exclusively, so I'm looking for fun + resiliency. I'm sure some of my slotting my be archaic. Be gentle.
3) I've tried to be as accurate as I can w/ my IO's. The level may be slightly different, but the IO's themselves are correct.
4) This is my best guess as to power levels and when they were taken. Seems right from memory, but might not be 100% correct. The overall build is correct though.
5) I'd love to have a second pistol attack in the mix, but I don't know if it is possible. I know it isn't ideal, but I'm not a mix/max guy. Fun + resiliency.
