Fire/MM - Halp?

I've been bored with PVE as of late, and I have a Fire/MM that is sitting around waiting to come out of retirement. Was hoping I could get some help on the build? Would be for zone in RV. Money is no object, and with that in mind, this is what I came up with:

I've never built a PVP toon, but I believe that this may not be too terrible of a start?

If it is terrible, please, rip into it. I'm all ears.

It does have the hp and the -kb but need to drop fighting and get tactics.
Proc flares
Get snowstorm.
Better slotting in hib
Defense is useless on squshies.

Thats what i can think of right now.

Off of this, prolly a bit more recharge than necessary. 60-70 Should be fine.
Snowstorm/FF is meh to me, doesn't really matter to me, but Snowstorm wouldnt have you slot a purple set which is cheaper.
You've got no accuracy in DP, not sure how much is needed, I dont run a /MM toon. But yeh.
You move very slowly, I would slot your travel powers a bit more, atleast super speed.
Just throw in an end mod in Acro
I would slot up subdual, but meh, Dont really now if thats a good idea.

Last, why so many pvp IOs/Purples, seems a waste, but I dunno, I haven't spent that much, maybe its quite amazing.

I had no idea if hib was worth slotting or not. With those suggestions in mind, how is this? :

Yeah. Wasn't sure if it was worth toggling Snowstorm or not.

Was under the impression that the global accuracy would cover it.

Good point. Bumped up the runspeed. I was under the impression that the magic KB number was 43, an end reduc would put me at 42.

Scare seems to have over twice the base duration, had planned on using it.

Why not?

Thanks for all of the help.

Oh, I meant as an attack for subdual. I would definitely slot scare as well.

I put together a build for you if money really isn't an issue.

I'm not a fan of six slotting kinetic thrust. The 7.5% recharge and -3 KB protection isn't worth the 5 slot investment IMO. Plus you'll never really use it against decent players. (Decent players have 41 KB Prot. And if you're only using it on bad players, then they won't have 41KB Prot, so the added +KB isn't needed.)

I put 3 mitos in SS instead of the conventional 2. DR is super **** to runspeed and I hate seeing stalkers escape with a sliver of life left.

The third slot in hasten might not be needed. If anything you could put it in hurdle instead. The difference is marginal at best.

Im gonna just have to say snowstorm is great for zone play. Throw it on a brute and any stalker that gets close gets their stealth screwed, perma travel suppression so it's hard for anyone to get away, and it just plain old puts a huge target on someones back.

And it requires no slots just put and end reduction in the first slot and your good to go. Also theres always more then a few blasters in zone so the person with it on can never be sure which one to mez to take it off.

edit: also for MMs put it on the pets NOT on the actual MM himself so when they run they pets stay put lol

I'm not a fan of snowstorm due to the 2 second cast time. I'd rather have +10% recharge from flashfreeze. YMMV though.

Duel me.
I will work on my sig pic more when I have time.

I just spam flares & hit blaze when the target gets into range. The 1s cast of both powers keeps my dps high and helps with jousting. I have fireblast on standby only when hasten is down or someone has -recharge on me.

If anything: Subdue > Fireblast. Same cast time, but subdue is easier to proc and has immob. Costs more end though.
