Best way to spend 59 merits?

I know this must've been asked a thousand times, but I just returned since i13 and I never got any merits because I was already hardly playing the game.

Soooo my new 22 scrapper finished a Synapse last time I played and I got 59 merits (58 for the TF + 1 for Babbage).

Considering I will be IO'ing this toon only at 35-40ish, what would be the best thing for me to do in relation to those merits so I can earn money out of whatever is better (buying a specific recipe? random rolls at some level? I dunno )

Thanks!

With 59 merits you can't buy any specific recipes.

You are 1 merits off 3 random rolls, Hop on a GM team and get 2 for that then roll em.

Thanks Cat! And at what level should I roll them? When I left the game I though 'at least I have the money to purp out a toon if I come back'... Now I see my 800 mil can't buy a purple set

And wow that sucks, my fault for not looking at how much recipes are meritwise but such a long tf and not even a chance to buy one? Not cool (yeah I know I'm late complaining about the system lol)

Well at 22 the options are limited, and 20-25 would be the best.

You may want to considered holding off on the rolls until level 30-33, and recipes at that level will sell better than most low level ones.

Thank you very much! I can wait until 30 since it's so fast to level nowadays (got to 22 in like 10 hours). Guess I"ll put common 30 IOs at 27 and start IO'ing the toon later when I get more slots

You can't afford a purple set. True.

You can afford to frankenslot about twenty characters, though.

As far as "what to buy"- I'll buy those three random rolls (I give you the money, then you roll, then you give me whatever you roll.) 20 million inf each, any time under level 41. For reference, a 240-merit recipe is going for about 200 million these days. One million per merit seems like a fair price to me.

So you think you're a hero, huh.
