I 17 closed beta started the same day as Pistols became available, not to mention it is the middle of the week.
Additionally a lot of people take new characters straight to RWZ and group up in the AE since the level barrier was removed.
PinnBadges is still in use. You just hit upon a quiet night I think. Night before was buzzing.

Personally I've been away the past few days because my computer's PSU died and NewEgg is being a jerk in sending me my new one (although it could be here now...I should check). But as of a few days ago I felt like I was actually seeing more people around the city instead of fewer, and PinnBadges is keeping a decent population (although it has had some quiet nights, like Lemur said).

Population varies at any given time.. I was actually on server we shall not name and I saw 2 people at the black market and ran to the U and AE and saw a total of 3 people.
Then I noticed in pinnbadges a katie so yep was on my home for while
Seems no matter what server I'm on or what time it is, there's always only 2-3 people in Mercy Isle.

They always do double xp at the worst times for me. Son's birthday and friend's baby shower this weekend.
I didn't realize it had started already though, weee I can get in a little tonight.
Guess this means I didn't get into closed beta :P.
So you guys are still finding groups and seeing activity during normal hours then? It seems kind of like an mmo cliche but, every time I check back in I see less and less folks.

Didn't realize they took the restrictions off RWZ. I am bummed to hear that people are still just camping in the architect 
. Still, if that's where the party is, I suppose I should haul myself over.]

AE XP, while less, is still more effecient. Sadly, it's also easy access.
Also didn't know D-XP was starting today. I'll be running my DP/Traps through papers/regular content and might even ask if folks want to join me.
Probably be more fun that AE farming.

I have popped on for 4 or so sessions in the last 24 hours.
Each time I just got right on to 8 man teams, mishing away,
(normal contact or radio mishes.)
If you saw me, I would either be levelling at trainer, or travelling between mishes.
One of my new DP alts is 28.

In the hour or two I was on, I saw 1 other person in the red side newb area maybe 2 blue side. Are there really that few people playing new characters these days?
Also, Pinnbadges was totally silent at the times I monitored it. Did it move elsewhere or die?
