Mids Defence Numbers wrong!

I've just been using Mids to design a respec for my DM/SR scrapper and rebuilt the existing build which is capped to all positions according to the in game combat attributes - approx 45.3%
Mids is showing the same build as 42.3%, is this a known bug with Mids?

I've heard of issues with Phalanx Fighting in Shields but not in SR.
The build uses all of the defence powers of SR, CJ, Weave, Steadfast Def/Res and a set of Gaussian.

It may not be a bug.

Post your Mids build here.
Go into the game. Bring up the combat attribute monitor. Then take a screenshot and/or type out all of the powers and effects modifying your defense.

Doing this will easily identify what is the issue.

You're giving us almost no real info to work with to figure out why there's a difference. How about posting the build so we can go over it.

Just off hand, a 3% difference suggest that maybe you don't actually have the steadfast in the mids build?

Or maybe the lead Dev for Mids' happens to stumble across the thread and sees what is going on.

It does sound like you do not have something added in Mids' or a power not toggled on. My guess is you slotted the Steadfast KB protection by mistake. I have done it from time to time too because procs are always last in a recipe set. Steadfast is just awesome enough to have two. lol

Try turning on Combat Jumping. It was off when I pulled up the build.

I've seen this problem before in my own builds. I suspect MIDS defaults to CJ being OFF because it's a travel power, or something like that.

i was working on a shield/ss build once and couldn't figure out why i was having to make so many sacrafices to soft cap... deflection was off... :/

Also the bug in SD for Phalanx Fighting is the fact that it does not register the power for Ranged defense. I fixed it by editing the database and changing the Ranged defense part of the power from Affects Target to Affects None and it shows up correctly (Melee and AoE were already set that way).

If your talking about the bug I think you are, it was fixed in patch that can be found in the TitanNetworks forums here.

Thanks! That fixes it.

I do not mind having to edit then when needed (did the same thing before so I could get my travel powers early from vet) but always better when running on the right update.
