Major Arc Icon for the colorblind (et. al.)

I created a overlay of the major story arc icon to replace the in-game one. The difference between the major and minor arc icons is that one has a green bookmark and the other blue. Besides being indistinguishable for the colorblind, the color-sighted often have a hard time seeing the difference.

Here is a pic showing the minor (one bookmark) and the new major (two bookmarks) icon:

The 3 KB file is found here: storyarc_button_major.texture

From your main CityofHeroes or CohTest directories you must add this subdirectory tree: /data/texture_library/GUI/HUD/Contacts

Then put storyarc_button_major.texture in the Contacts subdirectory.

Then start up the CoH client.

I've also noticed that if you mouse over the icon, it will call the story either a Major Arc or a Mini-Arc.

I still want to know how you get from a .jpg or .tiff to a game-usable .texture file.

If the game works, and a folder is missing all it means is there was nothing modified locally. Just add/create the folder in the right place and drop the files in.

Good luck!
