Depending on how long you've been gone, there could be a signficiant amount of updating to do. Patience, my young padawan. Even on my fairly powerful machine, patching can sometimes take quite a while to apply.
If it takes an exorbitant amount of time, however, that's probably indicative of a different issue. Possibly a firewall issue (the update server is *not* a game server, IIRC).
well basically it simply does not in any way shape or form connect to the patch-server i only get the connection attempt counter currently at #30.
It isn't connecting for me right now, either. So it could just be us, or it could be the connection server.
So...I guess that doesn't help...
Well actually it does help a bit. Prolly some hickup with the log-in server/patch server. I'l just chill and wait for a while.
Isn't it Scheduled Downtime around about now?
I know EU is 12 til 2 and it's 25 to 2 now.
Ah here we go... Would seem like i just got my timezones mixed up. Everything is fine and the game is patching.
Cheers tho and i am glad to see that the CoH community has not lost it's friendly touch.
That is weird though, I could have sworn the server status page listed all servers as "down" during the scheduled down time. In fact, I know that I've used before in the early mornings to see when the down time is over...
