Patron Powers for MA/SR stalker

Mostly PvE; Mostly Solo
Softcapped melee and ranged and ~30% aoe defense so no need for elude.
I have stamina, but didn't get tough or weave (didn't see the need).

So that leaves me three patron power spots.

A few questions:
1. What have the rest of you enjoyed?
2. Do the snipes (e.g. Moonbeam) crit from hide?
3. I read somewhere that the leviathan powers are good for PvP, but I don't see how they are particulary different in a way that is advantageous for PvP (well maybe hibernate).

Thanks!

I don't have a MA/SR, but...
1. I love leviathan for waterspout and hibernate. Waterspout gives you extra damage, debuffs, and softcontrol, and hibernate gives you a good healing/panic button that will do more for you than your tier 9 since you are already softcapped. Soul I also like, but for you the set defining power, Shadow Meld, won't do much as it just increases your defense. No comment on Mu, but mace is apparently good (so I hear) because supposedly having a pet out counts toward your "teammates" that increases your crit rate, and mace gets three of them.
2. Yes. However, if you are using Mids be aware that it shows at least some of the epic pool blasts with their "from hide" damage, so don't expect to get double that.
3. Have not pvped since the changes. Obviously hibernate is good, and I can see waterspout being good as well. It used to be the case that Spirit Shark (aka t'row fishy) was quite good, but I don't now if it still is.

My MA/SR stalker took Ghost Widow. The -acc fits nicely with SR mostly.

I only use 2 powers: Gloom is in my attack chain as it is a great attack. I also have Moonbeam for LRSF pulling (better me dying then a corrupter).

I leveled this toon up prior to soft-capping mania so I got the stuff cheaper back in the old days I can't imagine what he would cost now. Because he is soft-capped I dropped Elude.

I also dropped Super Jump now that we have Ninja Sprint, but he went most of his career on Swift/Quickness/Sprint and the Raptor Pack from Atlas Park MM. (Grandville ain't so bad for running around when your hidden).

You're going to want Elude for the following reasons:

You say you want to PvP. Elude is required in PvP for SR, especially at RV level where everyone has plenty of ToHit and Accuracy. Elude's +Movement, and at times +Recovery are invaluable in a PvP environment as well.

AE costoms. Custom Bosses/EBs/AVs do not obey the soft cap at all. They hit right past it. Elude helps tremendously.

Bane Spider Executioners/Knives of Artemis Bosses. Either of these guys can 1 shot you with their AOE. Elude provides you with your best shot at avoiding this.

SR is my favorite melee armor. I've logged hundreds of hours in PvE and PvP with it and I know it well. It's a terrific set, but does have some weaknesses, and the softcap isn't the only IO path you can take with it, nor is it IMO the optimal one.

OK thanks I'll think about Elude.

What patron powers do you use, if any. If you don't, what do you take instead and why?
