Sorting inspirations

Ola, super powered readers!

I guess this could be relatively simple to implement and would come out quite handy to most players.

What I'm suggesting is some sort of button in your inspirations tray that would automatically group the inspirations by type. This would go well with the inspiration combo feature too.

No! (there, that takes care of getting objections with no real reason out of the way.)

Yeah, I could go for this. It'd probably end up sorting by tier as well just by default, which itself would be useful.

That seems like such a system would be too specific to be useful, at least for me. Over the years, I've developed a very specific way to sort my inspirations, and I doubt a system would do it quite the same way. Having seen how other people arrange theirs only makes me doubt more.

That said, I don't have any reason to complain about such a system. I question why arranging inspirations by hand is problematic, but as long as it doesn't take anything away from me, then why not?

Like S_T, I wouldn't personally find it useful, because I have my own arrangement pattern. (Generally grouped by type, but with a stack in the right hand column of rez, breakfree, blue, green.)

OTOH, if a lot of people would use it and it didn't mess with my system, sure. I guess ideally, in the magical world of free programming effort, I'd really like a system where you could lay out your own preferred pattern on the insp grid, and the game would do it's best to fit your insps to that pattern when you clicked the button.

Sure why not...might save me some time from doing it myself

I understand some players have their own configuration - I did too. However, those players can simply not press the button and keep their stuff in place.
