EM/Ninjitsu Build Help
Not a bad build I'd take out one slot from Kuji-In Rin and place it in hasten, it'll still be up perma and you'll benefit from 16 seconds faster rech hasten, which will benefit all your powers. I'd drop Recall Friend unless you reeeeally like the utility and get combat jumping instead, you could still whack the 2 BOTZ in there this would also push you to soft cap for melee and ranged defense.
Looking at Kuji In sha, it's really overslotted, you have 3 doctored wounds, but you need none of the set bonuses. either go for 5 doctored wounds for the recharge bonus, or think about replacing with 3 numina's to get the +regen, +hp (pretty much how you've slotted Hibernate) I've noticed that even with all the +hp accolades you're a fair distance from the hp cap, so you might like to do this
Replace the end/rech lotg in Hide with the Defense one, Hide costs no endurance, but does get to AOE defense cap on it's own, so it'll be much better with the defense io. (this also gets you to the defense cap without swapping recall friend for combat jumping, but i reeeally think you should get CJ :P)
I'm usually quite happy with the range of placate in pve. So you could drop the slot with the +range IO and whack it in Hide for the +HP or so you can drop the Kismet +6% global accuracy unique into hide, which you may find useful
Maybe think about dropping 2 slots from Water spout, whacking them in stamina so you can 5 piece the performance shifter set, I think you'd prefer the bonuses you get from that, but no worries if you don't wanna
I'm not a big fan of some of the powers you've picked, but i respect you wanted them as they're fun for you to play, so i've not looked at replacing powers only enhancing them, hope some of this helps! as for pvp, I can help you with an RV build, but that's about it, hehe.
Thank you very much! Being my first (and only) stalker, I appreciate some feedback from experienced players. I tried my hand last night at PVP using a specific PVP build utilizing Stealth, and +stealth Celerity in Sprint. Due to teh power shortage in trying to build a set for lvl 30 (siren's call), I was not able to stuff Fitness into my build and still get all the necessary powers. Between running toggles for my defenses (2) stealth, and Sprint as soon as I hit a travel power I'm losing endurance. I figured I just have to have enough endurance to hit something 3-4 times and either it will be dead or I will, so I can do withouth Fitness. Any opinions in working Fitness into a Siren's Call build?
On a side note, I took Recall Friend in my PvE build to actually try to add some team utilitiy to my stealth ability. Perhaps to ghost a mission and teleport the team in to the final boss fight. I recognize it does zero for my personal build (I would honestly rather have Combat Jumping for my toon's personal benefit) but it seems teams are loath to add stalkers in the first place so it might make me a bit more attractive to a team looking for help. I also slotted Kuji-in Sha to hit 95% healing and 95% recharge, not necessarily fo the set bonuses but you're right about Numina's adding some useful bonuses so that would be a better choice.
Out of curiosity, you state you are not a big fan of some of the powers I picked - would you mind elaborating on why? I'm a rookie to this whole archetype and what looks good on paper may not be very effective in the game.
Below is my first crack at a Siren's Call PVP build if you wouldnt mind providing some feedback and what I could do better on the PVP side as well. Thank you very much for the help!

Looking at the PvE build, some of the things which I would personally change:
- Smoke Flash: The power is "okay", but not great, and is highly situational. In any situation where Smoke Flash would save you, Caltrops, Blinding Powder, Water Spout, or Hibernate will also work, and usually work better. And you're taking all of those powers. Recommendation: move Caltrops to 30 and/or take Combat Jumping with that power selection.
- Barrage vs. Energy Punch: Entirely based on personal preference, but Energy Punch is slightly higher damage per activation (used for extended chains), costs less endurance, and is available more often. With Barrage, you're more likely to waste endurance on overkill and if you're in an extended fight you take a(n admittedly unnoticeable) drop in DPS.
- Power order in the patron pools: You have Hibernate before Water Spout? Neat trick that Mid's is letting you do it... but the game won't. In any case, now that I said that Hibernate is much better than Smoke Flash earlier, it's also a mostly wasted power choice in PvE. Stalkers can be built for good survivability, and while it may be nice to ride out Retsu crashes, that makes it far too situational for a build which you can just go ahead and softcap and have Retsu-level defense all the time without a crash.
- Sha slotting - take the Steadfast -KB out of there. It's a great place for the defense unique, but you get better mileage out of 5-slotting Doctored Wounds, and putting a Karma -KB in any one of several defense powers (like, for example, Hide - to replace the LotG End/Rech you have in there) or if you have the budget for it get the Blessing of the Zephyr -KBs and shuffle slots (out of Smoke Flash, maybe?) for extra AoE defense and more KB protection.
- Agree with the above poster on range slotting Placate. If you need to Placate something from that distance that isn't coming in close, duck around a corner.
- Defense: with Hide suppressed (ie, when you'll actually need the defense), your defense numbers are 40.3% melee, 39.1% ranged, and 29.1% AoE. I know they're ridiculously expensive, but Blessing of the Zephyr sets can help you out here. If you're planning on not worrying about the softcap and just using Retsu as needed, then you're good (and have a good reason for Hibernate, although the Demonic accolade works almost as well).
- Stealth IO: completely useless in a PvE build for a Stalker. If you're planning on doing the dual build for a PvP build anyway, use it there where you can get something out of it. Nothing in PvE can see a Stalker in Hide unless it ignores any level of PvE stealth anyway (examples are Rikti drones, Knives of Artemis, and iirc real Shadow Cyst crystals).
it has gone from unconscionable to downright appalling that we have no way of measuring our characters' wetness.

Awesome, thank you very much Siolfir. I've adjusted my build a couple of times since my initial post a few weeks ago, and I'd already made a couple of the changes you suggest such as energy punch vs. Barrage. My PVP build has the stealth IO, my PVE build does not, I just forgot to take it out when making my builds in Mids. When I hit 41 I discovered Mids was wrong about Hibernate, and I took Water Spout instead and Hibernate at 44. Until such time as I get soft capped, I do find the power useful to save my skin when running missions. I'm sure once I'm fully IOd I will need it less, maybe a respec later down the road to get rid of it. I'd also come to the same conclusion regarding the knockback IO in Sha - I 5-slotted it with Doctored Wounds and used a slot in HIDE for Karma, -KB instead. It works much better, good catch. My stalker hit 50 over the double XP weekend, and I've been able to do some playing after trying a few powers I only had on paper prior to actually reaching a high enough level to use them. Using yours and Jamus's suggestions, I'm sure I'll be happier with my toon. Thank you!
So, utilizing the suggestions I've been given, here is an update lvl 50 build. I'm not sure I can't afford the purples in Blinding Powder yet, so I'll slot Siphon Insights until I get the cash. Any other thoughts?

Looks great. Something to ponder on Hibernate is if you find you dont ever need to use it, except for maybe an unfortunate/unseen retsu crash, you may prefer to slot it for end recovery.
Getting the born in battle and high pain threshold accolades is all that's needed to put you at the hp cap, a useful place to be ^.^
Well I capped your ranged def (was a bit under the cap with suppressed hide) by adding the 6th slot in the confuse set, gave you 5% more recharge and better slotting on Total Focus' stats (you could use Touch of Deaths in TF and change the slotting to Energy Transfer, whichever you like up more often) and gave you 9.39% more AoE, so your AoE def is now almost 41% when Hide is suppressed. I kinda gutted your health slotting for that so regen is lower, but you'll be at the hit point cap with accolades.
I also question having Hibernate when you could get Dark Blast and Shadow Meld, or Mu bolts+Ball Lightning, although the latter option would need a rework on slotting since they need 4 slots at least each. Anyway, I changed a bit the IOs in Waterspout, recharge is better than endurance for it.
And well if you wanna PvP you'd need Stealth, a Stealth IO and probably 41 pts of KB protection, at least from what I read in the PvP boards, I haven't PvP'ed since i12 but even before PvP was changed you needed both the Stealth IO and the pool power.

Kioshi,
Thank you for taking the time to assist, I appreciate it! All feedback is welcome.
Personally, I dont slot for AOE defense for two reasons - one is that the -KB IO is hella expensive for BotZ. The second reason is AOE damage in the PVE world isnt all that common. Yes, I know there are some out there (Vahz pukers come to mind) but I have never slotted any of my toons for AOE and haven't regretted it yet. Just my personal preference.
Reading this got me thinking of making a ElecM/Nin Stalker also, and threw this build together real quick like. Any ideas, baring in mind that this is a budget build atm. Has soft capped defenses, and only 25 second downtime on hasten atm.

Hello folks!
I've recently pulled my level 24 stalker out of retirement - I'm not sure why, but all the sudden I've gotten the urge to be sneaky and lethal. I'm a 5-year player, but haven't really done much on the villian side and this is my first stalker. I've tinkered with Mids and come up with the following build. Its for PvE, can I please get some critiques? There are no purples in the build, funds are severely limited since I don't play red side much. Thanks! If you've got time, I'd love to see a lvl 30 Siren's Call build for this toon as well if someone's deep into PVP.
