i'm using a 9800gt and have no problems running the game. do a CoH helper report and post it here so we can see your comp specs. also, if your power supply isn't pushing 26amps from the 12volt rail, it wont work. how big is your power supply?

Also, make sure of your slots.
If your computer is more than 1 or 2 years old, (and I would say way likely if more than 3) you might have an AGP port, and no PCI-E ports (which pretty much all modern cards are). It's something to be careful of.

I have a PCI-E puter
The vid card I bought was the same. But if I update the Power would that necessary fix the card issue? I wasn't even able to tweak the 3-D settings like the 7500 card. 
Also to add... I tried to update the drivers while in my puter for the card... and have done a coh helper and the card still didn't show up. Would that be from not enough power getting to the card to get it running?? If that's the case, then I need to get a new power supply.

granted the 7 and lower series aren't on there but this should be the most up to date list from the last few yrs of product. i do know some of the different models aren't on their either which is strange from the nvidia site.
His post over on the Tech Board said he had a 9300GS but the card wasn't even registering in the CoHHelper report so there was no way to confirm it.

if you can, try to update the video drivers. that may help.
I have tried to update the drivers on the particular card, but when I do... it makes it seem that the card isn't even there. Everything goes wonky. I'm scratching my head on this one. The drivers that came with the card work, but not new ones?? I even think I found the card's maker and will be contacting them. It's just weird that I haven't had this problem with video cards like this before. Usually the vid drivers work with them and that's it. But not working with the card and the puter saying "nope, not there"

yeah, then call the manufacturer of the card. it may need to be replaced. but, depending on how long you have had it for, you may be able to do so fo free with the warranty.
What I want to ask the forumites in general is this...
Geforce9800gs. CoX does not support the card and I have tried everything on the Bugs/Tech forums to try to get it to work, it's a no-go.
Is there anyway to get any new (cheap being under $100) Video cards that would work for CoX that support OpenGL? I recently bought a new vid card that I have to return that my puter can't use.
So... my question is is: Is/are there any cards that support OpenGL from Nvidia or Radion that is in the under $100 range that I can put in my puter to run this game?? I had a Geforce 7500 gs that worked pretty well for the game untill the fan got broketed and failed.
Dell Dimension 5150 P4 3.0gig processor with 2gig ram.
