Singy's knockback aura.
Standing in that with hurricane on all that you have to worry about would be AoE and range damage. And again on an unlimited budget build those 2 positional defenses would be softcapped.
Lightning storm and sleet for damage...

For me Grav/Storm's real strength is the synergy between things like Wormhole, Freezing Rain, Crushing Field and Hurricane. Beyond how Hurricane and Singy make it so almost nothing can close to melee a great tactic on Grav/Storm is to find a corner out of direct line of sight of whatever group you want to defeat and Wormhole them into it with Freezing Rain and Hurricane to keep them there. Crushing Field, Lightning Storm and Singy help destroy the group while also helping keep them from getting out of the corner. Crushing Field having no KB protection means that it holds enemies in place while Freezing Rain keeps them flopping up and down.
(A Grav/Storm was my first controller to hit 50. It's not considered one of the powergaming set combos, but it suits my playstyle. In my opinion Wormhole is the crown jewel of Gravity Control.)
