i would take PB so u can make a quick getaway and pb increases the effects of Aim+BU as well..but Conserve power is helpful with all those damn therms out there

For an arena build all you really need is Flares, Fire Blast, Aim, and Blaze from the primary, with Power Thrust, Build Up, and Boost Range from the secondary. An argument could be made for taking Blazing Bolt and Total Focus... CP is nice if you have room for it. In a team arena build I wouldn't put hold procs in your attacks as they can mess up the mez timer for spikes.

I stand by my statement that with DR the way it is, there's no point in taking PB on a Blaster unless you're Sonic or Rad. PB'ing Aim or BU adds maybe a few percent tohit these days.

Didn't think about the procs thanks mac. Up untill the league starts all I've done is zone and 1v1, watching matches as a drone, and a couple KB/FFA/pvpec 2v2...so I haven't really had to worry about it. TF and Snipe is just for sets, RoF would have only been for zone only. I think I'll stick with CP and I most likely won't fit in PB.

I wouldn't worry about taking CP, if you are respecing for the league. You should have emps on your team that can AB you if you are the target of a heatloss or heat exhaustion. Also haven't seen all that many thermals in any of the "kickballs" lately, have seen a couple of colds but they have mostly been in there disrupting the other teams emps. So again I wouldn't worry about having CP. But here is a fire/em build for ya.

Rain of fire is a very powerful anti-stalker tool in zone PVP. If you are playing there often, I'd pick that over conserve power, as that's more situational, and can be covered by carrying some emergency blues.

I don't actually plan on using it that often, but I have a free power slot and wasn't sure what to go with. CP seemed the best choice for situational moments compared to the other alternatives (cept RoF if I decide i suck to much and stay in zone foreva) and I wasn't specing just for the league. Already had good stats, so I didn't need another power for set bonuses imo. Took a look at your build Psy some interesting stuff.

I've decided I won't be doing much zone anymore, so I'm going to bypass RoF. I just find arena a lot more fun than zone.

i'd get TF.
a fire/em plays a bit different than a psi/em's....
if you can figure out how to time it, it will definitely get you kills and keep people from stepping into melee with you.. just don't be a downie that spams it..
