Quick question.

I'm looking into buying a laptop that has the following:
dual core 2.3 ghz CPU
4gb ddr3 ram
ati HD 4200 vid card.

My question is simple: will this run CoH?

(Sorry there's not much more detail, typing from my phone at work!)

Ah wait. ATI 4200 is an integrated graphics core on the motherboard. While yes it will run the game, don't expect exceptional or even fair performance.

So pretty much I'm looking at bare minimum like I have been. I was hoping that the newer graphics card and more memory would yeild at least somewhat better performance.

More memory will decrease your load-times, and make using in-game interfaces (read: Wentworths, Icon, etc) much more pleasant. It won't do much for your visuals or framerate - this part is handled by your GPU. I would estimate that, with this configuration, you're looking at minimum to performance level settings.

I was looking at that one, but I heard multiple issues regarding the sound card. How would you rate the performance of the one I posted compared to first one?

Don't know. What I can say it the CPU is faster because of larger L2 Cache and that the nVidia 130M is faster than the nVidia 320M GPU.
