Had this baster idea

I'm thinking about making an elec/energy/munitions blaster with fitness and teleport haven't thought of any other pools yet. Has anyone tried this combination? I'm very interested in the possibility of snipe nuking spawns and whether or not boost range effects teleport's range. Thanks for your time.

Edit: Crap misspelled blaster in the thread name and I cant change it... wonderful this has just been an all around craptacular day.

i like the regular rubber and plastic basters myself.

Any particular reason for elec as your primary? It's a decent set, and it looks cool, but generally not considered the best.

Someone else will have to answer on whether Boost Range will boost Teleport, but from what i understand how Boost Range works it should work with Teleport.

That is an interesting goal, yes boost range works with teleport. The combination of the two is the fastest travel power in the game, and ninja run/hurdle is nearly as good as super jump for speed to make short movements.

2 long range nukes, not a bad idea. You should definitely take conserve power to get plenty of mileage from a single blue, that way you can use thunderous blast every time it's up.

I chose elec blast because the nuke is ranged nuke. That and with energy manip it can have utility beyond just damage. Maybe Ice would be better. Not sure right now.

Well, cold is less resisted than energy in general. There are very few enemies or sets with significant cold resistance.

You should check the Guide to Guides. Elec/Energy is an effective combo, and there is at least one guide for it.

I'm not sure Munitions Mastery is the best choice, as Elec/Energy can also be run as a decent Blapper (Munitions is the least useful set for Blapping), but having two ranged nukes is appealing.

Edit: Energy has the advantage that, while more enemies resist it, there are also a good many enemies who are actually weak to it. Also, Ice blasts have a Smashing component; besides being resisted, this also causes enemies with Smashing-typed defenses to have a full dodge chance against Ice Blast, which can be problematic as well.
