City Of Heroes - Guardian Server (Facebook)

Hello! I just joined the Facebook group "City Of Heroes - Guardian Server" yay! I had to create a new account to do it, as I disabled or deleted my real account and I will not bring it back. I will finish up my profile page later, but it will pretty much just be CoH stuff. One last thing, I created the profile as "Kragothe Burford" but I do not really want anything other than "Kragothe" to show up. I only added my last name because I had to put in a last name. Is there anyway to do that, or do I have to display a first and a last name?

A little late in the monthly update, I totally forgot to do this on Sunday and Monday was a blur.

So, we gained 10 new members this month, pushing up our membership to 233.

Are we talkin the COX group or this another one?

Noire, this group page was around prior to the creation of the CoX group. I was handed the reins over this group page over a year ago and have been administering it ever since.

Ah yes im in that group too but with the CoX group popping up constantly with chat windows and talking with everyone I forgot about this group, prolly cause I see more activity with CoX then this one sorry

The reason for that is our group page is using the old group page style. The new Facebook group page has chat and other tools. Soon, we will be migrating to the new version. I am a member of CoX and have contributed to their page as well. The more the merrier.

So, this past month our Facebook page was changed to the new style for group pages and it is more interactive than the previous group page. However, I guess for some folks it was too much and for the first time since I took over the reigns of the page we had a net loss of 17 members.

I guess some attrition was to be expected to the new page layout, but I did not expect quite that much. Regardless, I am still here to make sure that the page is an accurate source of weekly events, etc.

Thank you to the new members who joined and to those that departed, I wish you all the best.

Have not been in game for some time, just returning. Joined up on FB. I'm ready to stay in for now if I can. Thank God for free-to-play if I do lapse, but I do not plan to.

I'm that casual gamer that LOVES this game with all his heart, just has hard financial times due to being the sole breadwinner during the summer months, and having a full household.

Well, I do what I can and play when I can... but that doesn't take away from that I love this game so much...

I'm not great at it, by any means... but you don't have to be great at something to enjoy it fully.

Having ADHD and other disorders prevents my longevity in missions... so solo-ing is my only real option. I do join teams when I can but I can't do long arcs... not condusive to my lifestyle.

Well I'm glad to be here anyway and hope to see this game through. My only other MMO is dying on Dec 15th.. SWG. And I haven't even been there for a LONG while.. and its yet another game I TRULY love.. and I hate to see it go. I might join KOTOR just to see what all the fuss is about... but I will remain a CoH-er for all my days. The ONLY other MMO that interests me doesn't start until 2012... TRANSFORMERS UNIVERSE.

We started the month with 216 members and as of today 4 brave souls have joined, thus making our group 220 members strong.

Well, another month has come and gone and we are now in the back stretch of 2011. It's crazy to see how the year has gone by. Well, I wanted to thank all those new members that have joined us and I am happy to say that we continue to be the largest City of Heroes server based page on Facebook! This month, we had a net increase of +14 members, which now makes our little page home of 234 members.

I hope you continue to find the page a source for information, events and general Guardian silliness. Check out the documents section where you will find recaps of every Freedom Friday so far. The recap is posted either on Friday night or Saturday. I am looking forward to seeing this page grow more and more with the release of Issue 21 and the F2P Hybrid model they are introducing to the game.

In the end, the page is for all of you. A home away from the forums and game to keep an eye on what's going on in the Guardian server. All the best to you all and our next update will be on September 1st.

Greetings fellow Guardianites. Another month is in the books. Last month, our Facebook page stood at 234 members. I am happy to report we now have 8 new members to the growing Guardian family and we now stand at 242 members.

The page is a great source for information, events, Guardian shenanigans and so much more. The best part is the community of players! I look forward to next month and beyond to continue making our page the best it can possibly be.

Hey guys it's been a blast so far, I'm loving the game all over again and the Facebook page has been great.

I'm still alting around a bit, trying to find my nitch and I hope I have in the form of an eng/eng Blaster (Blapper)

I wonder what the main SG for the Facebook page is; I'm looking for something active if possible. Send me a tell in game or add me to your global, even if it's just to hang out.. the more the better.

PS: Not sure if I'm the only one this is happening to but every now and again the game will freeze up and show a glimpse of the last screen I was on, it's only a few seconds but as a blaster that's all I need to get killed. I did open a ticket and I'll be doing some testing when I get home tonight, but if anyone else is having this problem please let me know, I hope I'm not the only one, but if I am maybe you guys out there might have a fix or a suggestion that I didn't think of.

(Wow, that was a lot) lol

Hello everyone. Our monthly update has arrived. We have reached a new milestone on the group page, as we now have 251 members (a increase of +9 from September). I would like to welcome our newest members and hope they enjoy the page.

Also, now that the game has become F2P, I'd like to invite those who have decided to give City of Hereos a spin or even returning Premium players to the page. It's a good source of information, player events and other Guardian related shenanigans.

Our group has grown yet again and we now have 258 members to the City of Heroes Facebook group (an increase of +7).

So....after eating way too much turkey (and everything else in between) and finally getting over that tryptophan sluggishness, we are in the final month of 2011. It's crazy to see how time just flies by.

So, let's update the big board.

Last month we had 258 members in our Facebook page. I am happy to say we have added some more new faces to the group and we now currently stand at 265 members (a net increase of 7). So, thank you for those who have joined.

Come January, it will be 2 years since I took over the reigns of the Facebook page and it's come a long way. I could not have done it without all you good people and I look forward to 2012 and beyond (as I will be signing up for another 14 month stretch this month, which will keep me in game up to April 2013).

I joined the Guardian Server on Facebook a while back and have only visited it a few times. I need to make a note to stop by at least once a week or something.
