Looking for MAJOR help IOing SS/ICE

I have had this toon for a long time and did nicely before ED and then after IOs it went downhill from there..

I had him slotted out with SOs at lvl 38 and stopped playing him for other toons, now I am back to wanting to play him and slotted him out with what I thought would do it, and I was VERY wrong..

I am doing the recovery research now and seeing what sets help in that alot, still getting used to mids also so if you can help it would be great..

The build I thought I had I guess I did not save it cause I cannot find it in Mids, I am trying for him to be a good tank that can take and dish out damage, I am a fighter not a person who likes to only taunt, so thats the kinda build I am looking for..

I have a level 50 ice/SS tank. Ice is a pretty decent set 'out of the box' - you've got a +HP power, +END power, slowing taunt aura and damaging taunt aura.

Mine is built for damage output. You've got a lot of click powers (including Rage) that are important. The bonuses I went after are +recharge, +damage and some extra defense.

Off the top of my head.... I think I had Red Fortune, Kinetic Combat and Crushing Impact sets. I don't use Mids and I can't log in to the game to check.

Your real ugly damage will come from Rage + Foot Stomp + Icicles + Ice Storm (or whatever the AoE in Arctic Mastery is named).

Instead of Reactive Armor, put some Serendipitys or Luck of Gambler into your two defensive armors. Put the Steadfast +def into Hoarfrost. Slot the attacks and Taunt as guided, until soft-capped.

Congratulations, you are now invincible until Rage crashes. So put a pair of EndMod/Rech into Hibernate, and click it when you're just not mad anymore.

Is that enough to get you started?

This is what I currently use on my Ice/SS. He's quite tough to take down with his pseudo-infinite end, soft capped defenses, AoE KD and two oh-sh** buttons. I'm also very happy with his AoE damage output!
