Losing your global chat selection

ive noticed this too, it is a little annoying, but its such a small bug that it will prolly just be fixed when they get around to it and lumped together with some other stuff for one of their fix patches (which i havent even seen one of those around in quite a while either)
You could do what I do: Set the chat to "Active Tab" (the little A button above the chat entry box), and create binds which combine /tabselect and /startchat

Okay so I thought I would post this here to see if this might get implemented at some point.
This is a QoL feature that I'd love to see done but again since it's a QoL...it's not a 'huge' deal but...would be nice to have
What I'm talking about is when I click on the chat window and select a global chat channel to make it the default channel (for example "SGchat" (not a real chat name that I know of)) and I can talk in that global chat channel as default so that I don't have to type out "/send SGchat blahblah". However, once I zone it usually gets reset to the "local" channel. Although sometimes it does stay on "SGchat" channel but after the 2nd zoning that I go through it always resets to Local.
Would this be an 'easy' fix for you devs by chance?
