Teleport Badges?
Quote:
The beacon badges are unlocked for your Super Group when you touch every Exploration badge location in the zone. Just getting a single Exploration badge will not unlock the teleport beacon for any zone (other than Pocket D).
Is there a trick for finding the teleport beacon badges? I've stood right on the exact coordinates for the Atlas Park Beacon badge, but no luck finding the badge. Help?

Additionally, you must be in a Super Group and must be in Super Group Mode, otherwise the Exploration badges you collect won't count. They can be revisited in Super Group Mode if you were out of it the first time around; even though you won't see a notification, as long as you touch near enough each badge location, you'll get the beacon eventually.
For the Atlas Park Beacon, you need to find the following badges:
Undefeated, /loc 633, 85, -2324
Silent Sentinel, /loc -608, 70, -1890
Hero Corps Insider, /loc 284, 16, -884
Patriot, /loc 161, -768, -674
Top Dog, /loc 134, 314, -341
Freedom, /loc 129, 122, -641

It sounds like you're referring to ONE badge. You have to visit ALL the exploration badges in Atlas Park (there are six) in order for your SG to be awarded the beacon.

Note: ALL the badges in Atlas Park are plainly visible. If you can't see the badge at your feet, you're in the wrong place. Of course, they are not all at ground level. One is on top of the giant globe; one is on the roof of City Hall, etc.
There is a list of the six badges, with their coordinates, here.
Each entry on that list links to a picture showing the exact location like this one for the Freedom badge.

I had all the Atlas park badges, but I earned a few on a different server. That seemed to cause the problem, so I just had one of my minions grab them all.

To clarify a little, it doesn't matter whether your character has the badge or not*. You just have to visit every badge while in SG mode to get the beacon. So in your case there was no need to have a minion do it you can get the beacon even if you already have the exploration badges in question. Conversely once the badge has been earned it belongs to the SG and a person quitting will not cause them to lose badges.

*The exception is one of the RWZ badges which is hidden so it is extremely hard to tell if you got it for the SG on a character that already has it
Yeah, SG teleport beacons can only be earned by someone in SG mode, and stay with the supergroup, they don't follow you from server to server.

Also, if you have the badge already, you won't get the notification on your screen for getting it, even in SG mode. The only notification you'll get is when you get the actual beacon. (IIRC)
There is also one in Galaxy City. Off the top of my head, I think it's 'Landlocked'. It's in the water and I have never been able to spot the actual badge marker.

I play 99% Villains but this intrigued me. So I went in search of the Land Locked marker and actually saw it underwater. Guess that new video card I bought in anticipation of CoH "ultra graphics" is good for something
One man's terrorist is another man's freedom (or freem?) fighter; just as one man's exploit is another man's feature.
Cool. It may also be that certain settings interfere with seeing stuff underwater.
