ar/kin build advice
I'd say the thing you could look forward to would be Speed Boost at 20, and the posted build has it very late. If you don't plan to exemplar down, that could be OK, but SB is so useful I'd recommend taking it much earlier.
You don't have a movement power per se, and although Siphon Speed is handy, it requires a target that might not always be available. Inertial Reduction is an ersatz Super Jump that you can keep perma on yourself and teammates.
I would also recommend looking into Maneuvers (for defense to all) and the other Leadership pool powers. Corruptors get decent values for those, and they help everyone on your team.
Finally, take a look at Mace Mastery for the patron pool choice. Scorpion Shield is typed defense, but it covers smashing, lethal and energy, which take care of most ranged attacks as well.

I know the Numina's set gives 3.75% ranged but you're going to miss not having any acc in Transfusion, otherwise the build looks pretty good. I'll have a poke around mids and see if I can come up with anything else for you.
Are you planning to actually use M30 Grenage by the way? I would at least try and fit in one acc in Siphon Speed aswell and Transference seems underslotted.
One thing I'm wondering is would it be deemed more survivable to soft-cap smashing/lethal defence in most situations? I'm kinda having this trouble on a lot of my villain toons that have access to the Scorpion Shield. Or should I just take the shield for precaution and try and cap ranged regardless?

hmm, you're probably right about the transfusion and siphon speed. I was sorta hoping the accuracy bonus from sets would cover me but that might be cutting it close. I had to do all sorts of weird stuff to hit the softcap. I dont find the M30 grenade very useful on my AR blaster at 50, the KB tends to make a mess of things and interfere with the other AOEs. It's sort of just in there for fun and happened to add the last 1% or so I needed. I feel like ranged defense is way better than s/l for a non-melee toon. most melee attacks have a s/l component but many ranged attacks don't seem to, plus I get like 50% s/l resistance or something like that this way...

39% Accuracy isn't bad but I generally want my heal hitting very often. Siphon speed with it's recharge is invaluable aswell.

This is my first corruptor and I'm looking to hit the ranged softcap without compromising the mayhem I think this combo should be capable of. This would be about the only toon I've ever had without hasten - is there enough recharge without it? any recommendations? The low levels (currently at 19) are pretty painful so I'd like to know there's something to look forward to. Thanks in advance!
I'd really like to keep hover in as hover +siphon speed is endless enjoyment for me and it allows me to stay at range.
