Villainside PvPer

I know this is a pretty broad topic, but I'm looking to make a toon (preferably a corruptor) that could hold his own in zones and be fun in the arena as well. And by hold his own in zones I mean actually get kills. I was thinking Sonic/Cold since I've heard that's a good build, but are there any other corruptor secondaries that are good for zone and arena? Dark looks good on paper (to me. Love tar patch, and the cc) but there's no defense debuff so If I were to make that I'd probably go rad/dark.

I don't want a full on support build. In other words if I can't solo with it i don't want it.

I might like doms but I heard they're extremely squishy.

I know stalkers are beast but I'm too lazy to level one yet since I remember how boring it was to get my last stalker to 50 on my old account.

I like my kin, but maybe rad, fire, sonic/pain,therm, cold

yea pain is good. i've seen good fire, elec, rad, and sonic/pains.
i have a fire/apin of my own and enjoy playing it.

Also... when you scourge do procs do double damage also?

That is one thing im not sure about

I ended up making a rad/cold. Question though, why do people say rad's t1 power is so great because of procs if the procs cant even scourge? I don't get it. Granted that I haven't seen it in action.

EDIT: for pvp do you even want to take the shields? I thought defense is pretty much moot so it seems pointless.

Nice unresisted damage

The shields are a very nice place to put -kb IOs. Each sheild will hold Karma and Steadfast Pro IOs. It makes it very easy and relatively cheap to get that magic 41.
