Just pick one tf and have the same bunch of people sign on to do it both ways but on different dates - if you do something short (NO POSI) you should be able to do it the same date. An ITF, the LG, or if you want to include people who aren't 50 yet, one of the respec ones... or a Katie.
I'll be glad to help out if you like. My highest controller is 32, but I have several defenders at 50. The controller is coincidentally my current leveling project.
Personally - I'm good with doing it on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening or some point on a Saturday afternoon or on Sunday.

Fire/Rad Superteam from MidLevel Crisis
No ghosting. Just killing everything we came across on way to the objectives in "kill boss and his mob" missions. The only reason it didn't go faster was because our coordination at first...well...sucked a bit. Bu the end though it was just AMx7/hold/cook/next/hold/cook/next until we were done.

That's a built in speed bump, those waves don't come any faster even if you open all the doors, click all the glowies or dance a jig. Of course you could always just subtract 30 mins from everyone's time to find the fastest.I don't have a preference or anything, just pointing out some factors. Whatever the OP decides to do, I'll try and draft up an RO team for.

Picking a day is going to be hard, isn't it?
The more people, the harder it gets. For that reason, your suggestion makes sense.
My only thought is a personal one - my controller isn't spec'd out yet, so there's a major difference between her and my defenders. That could definitely impact results. Regardless, pick a day I can do it and I'll be there with both characters. Hopefully she'll be ready by then.

Ok, what does everyone think about next Sunday (Jan 24)? Say after the football games? (don't know how many watch the NFL here) I'm free all day so it doesn't matter to me. I can also stay up late no problem. I can also start early.

Ok...how about 1:00pm EST on Sunday the 24th? I'll say start with the ITF and move on to the LGTF pending better ideas on the spot. I guess the advantage of those two is most know them. We should either do something that everyone knows or that everyone doesn't know. Seems easier to find the latter.

If there's not enough interest with my RO mates, then I'll join whichever team will have me.

Defenders: Kin/Elec, Kin/Archery, Empathy/Psi, Storm/Elec
Controllers: Ill/Storm, Fire/Kin, Mind/FF
Looks like some ROers want to do the TF race but we'll probably have to do it at a later time. Is it okay if we just post up our finishing times?
More than likely we'll be an all defender team, probably doing the ITF.

We somehow ended up with 4 kins/....which don't stack very well. Would have loved to have more Rad/...but it is what it is. Another excuse (reaching) was I wasn't 100% sure whether we were supposed to "speed" it or not. (So busy recruiting we didn't have time to talk about it)
Trollers win! Wish it was closer than that! 
Pretty respectable time for doing it the long way.
4 of us were from RO and 3 of the 4 were from an all Kin SG. So we're very used to running with stacked SB. It does take some getting used to though. But everyone on the team was at the damage cap for the entire TF unless they missed an FS.
RO is about to run its all Def ITF shortly, so I'll post up our time. I don't think we're doing it the speedy way, cause I have no idea what that is and its fun to do it the normal way.
I don't think we really planned to speed on the troller team, it just kind of happened that way! But of course, with all the melty damage goodness we had, nothing stood up for too long anyway. Did the defenders have any defeats? We had 0.

I think the crystals got a couple of us in the 2nd mish.

It is one of the more interesting TF that isn't run often (available on both sides) but its short and caps at 39 so you get a nuke but no APP. It's a great racing Task Force because of that and also a lot of those lovely set bonuses won't be working, depending on the levels of the set IOs you have.
Could always run the Abandoned Sewer Trial...*ducks*
