I have yet to hear of Paragon Studios/PlayNC deleting characters.
They should all be waiting for you.

If they are old enough with a low enough level, it's potentially possible that some of their names have been released back to the pool. If somebody else grabbed one of these names you'll be forced to rename the character.
But that's the only hiccup.

But as far as actual character deletion? Never, unless that character was part of taking advantage of a MAJOR exploit. Don't even know if they have done it, but it is listed as a possible repercussion of bug/flaw exploitation.

We were officially notified of the name purge policy and we were advised that they might run it at any time of their choosing with no further notice. They could be running that script every month for all you know.

Yep. That's why I said "potentially possible" with the name thing. It could happen, but we dunno if they're still doing it regularly or not.
So, worst case, you may have to rename your characters if you are on trial and go away from a long period of time. The characters will not be deleted.
Figured it was worth making that absolutely clear.

At HeroCon the Dev's alluded to the possibility of running the name purge before GR.

Are all the toons created by a person under a trial account saved on the servers for an indefinte period of time?
If this person came back to the game a few months later and activated a full subscription, would all their toons created back under the 14-day trial period still be there?
