So I have a EM/Regen stalker

so besides the big 3, what else should I take from EM? And obviously all from Regen? Minus revive?

Gonna take SS for my travel and CJ for some mobility, probably leave out the fitness pool. Looks like Manuvers for a mule and tactics for +per. Stealth and Invis/Phase. Sharks and Hibernate.

So what other attacks from EM and what to build for? Damage and HP? Any accolades I should work on before specing into PvP build?

Regen is horrible on Stalker due to low HP and NO res. The reason why Regen seems godly in RV is because your getting attacked by a bunch of people that really have no idea what they are doing. I have regen, WP, Nin, EA, and LOLZ Dark. WP is by far the best imo. But hey if you don't mind getting hit hard as hell by everything by all means roll a regen. Also -res makes regen's cry. I in fact hate my Regen lol. Also .....you get supressed when you heal in zone....wtf is up with that.

already had the regen to lvl 46 before giving up on him ages ago for PvE. Figured I'd finish him up and spec PvP. It's all in the OP but thanks for the warning

And who knows. Maybe I'll get bored and roll up a Elm/WP or Spine/WP one day i the furtue.

You're doing something wrong. My regen is unkillable as long as I have DP up. It's only real weakness is no in-set perception.

Freedom RV is the best PvP'ers in the game. If they don't know what they're doing, and that's the reason regen does well, fine. That means it'll be fine anywhere else too.

Resilience is skippable. I'm considering dropping Fitness myself but I'm not hurtin' to really squeeze anything into my build besides maybe Water Spout.

I took Energy Punch, Total Focus, Energy Transfer, Assassin Strike, Placate and Build Up that I can think of off the top of my head from EM/. G'luck, btw.

Edit: I'm also considering dropping Intant Healing since I never find myself to ever use for Water Spout.

Barrage does more damage than Energy Punch these days, it's weird like that.

If you are going sharks, drop TF, having too many long animating attacks on a regin stalker can prove to be your death. ET has a 2.63 s animation I beleive, TF has a 3.3 and Sharks is another 3 seconds, so if you AS+ET+TF+Shark, you are frozen in place, and out of hide for around 9 seconds.

9 Seconds is way less time then it takes a blaster or two to face plant you. Even at the 1600.

Go ET, no TF.

IMO of course.

does your regen have leadership?
is it fully built?

there's no way your WP is more survivable than an instant healing regen that can ignore psy/ems pelting on him while IH runs, with two heals just in case aim and build up come up.

They did finally fix recon doing suppression. It was causing suppression on wp as well.

Duel me.
I will work on my sig pic more when I have time.

Divine, Numbers back barrier up on this one

I am also quite confident that a regin will last longer against most things then a WP. Not TOO much longer, but longer by quite a margin by stalker standards.

The defense from MoG is enough to warrant a longer survivability then WP.

i had it fullied pvp ioed out before i striped it......it was just a pain in the *** everytime i healed i was suppressed. (unless they fixed it). To each his i own i guess. I admit i never really died on it...i just got so use to having swift and hurdle on my wp that it felt like my regen movement speed was SOOOOO slow, that mixed with the heals still trigger movement supression....it was really fustrating. Movement to me is a big deal.....i can't stand having a slow toon.

I noticed that WP's Recon was not suppressing, but it was suppressing on my Regen Scrapper. Did they fix the Stalker version of Regen but not the Scrapper version?

EDIT: Or worse yet, did they suddenly decide melee self-heals suppressing was working as intended and WP's Recon is now bugged?

Sadly probably the right answer. At least we have a nice open line of communication with the list of known bugs to check so we know.....

I'm so glad the new guys thread has so many replies now! lol

I'll throw a build into mids sunday evening after my girl heads back to UF and have you guys **** it maliciously to tell me how bad I'll suck if using said build.

So do I understand correctly that Travel supresses after using recon now? What about IH and DP?

we're talking about heal suppression not travel suppression.

Placate is a little over slotted

Try to git more damage and/or acc bonus

DR will eat your recharge bonus pretty hard

lolhiberfaze.

Makos are better IMO then crushings.

I would also want to add that your endurance is pretty wrecked with I think it was 1.89 end a sec to your 2/s without Sprint on for your Stealth IO. I'd at least have your Numina +Rec/Reg in Fast Healing instead of Reconstruction. I think you were aiming for the sets in Hibernate, but I'd typically toss 2x Recharge and a Heal IO to keep it simple. I typically use MoG to avoid getting hit and get back into Hide safely. Even with no resistance IOs you won't get get nailed hard enough to be really be in any immediate danger at least if you're not in Hide before MoG runs out. With this build I'd prob keep blues handy.

it's enough to spam impale for about 3 minutes straight without running out end.. which is a lot.
