over 42 months ago 2 friends of mine kepts saying I should try it, they were on champs. We started our villian SG and works our way around. After a while we got CoH as well and I started the Hero side of things.

Champion was the first server I picked, because a friend was on it... but he's one of these folks who tries EVERY new MMO obsessively, and then gets wanderlust. When he left, I started getting regular teaming on Victory and stayed there for awhile. Had a falling out with a majority of the cool kids, and decided to move a few toons to another server. This seemed like the place. I met Marut and the members of Earthguard on my second day back here and decided I belonged on Champion. Been here lovin' it ever since.
Don't let my join date fool you, this is a secondary account. I've been a member since August 2004, and loved every minute of it.
I didn't begin on Champion though, I started off on Liberty. I found a few friends in a military based SG and went from there. I came to Champion when Demon Keeper got his first 50, "Solamic Knight" and I've been here ever since.
My first 50 was, and still is on his account, "Rise Against" Spines/Invuln. Though, I always thought of GATTACA as my real first 50. 
Since then I've dinged 50 on a few other characters that are on my sig, and moving in on 50 on a couple of others. Champion is a complete 180 of Liberty, the community is helpful, lively, and inviting. Liberty is... Well, all my levels on that toon came from my SG. He is 35, and now proud to be a CHAMPION! Thanks to the free character transfers.
So you'll see me on DK's account on my first character, an emp/rad defender by the name of "Suicide MD". I do both attack and heal, pretty good at keeping others alive. If I don't, I die trying.

So, early '07 Miss Sinny and I found out we were gonna be parents. As a musician it meant less time 'gigging'. That previous X-mas i asked her what she wanted most and she said a new CoX acct. I teased her relentlessly.. "What is this silly game?"
She had played the game upon it's introduction with a RL friend of hers and so one night at his house when we were all hanging out he sat me down and said here make a toon and gave me a bit of an introduction. Made a toon named after our son and... yeah I got hooked! lol
They just so happened to play on this server and I am grateful for it.. have met some awesome ppl here. They teased me about joining this dead SG I took an invite to (they were in Stryke Force) So as i lvl'd my first toon i recruited up DarkGuard. Thx to the ppl i've met along the way and those i've met by joining our lil SG .. it's good times and glad to be here coming across ppl (good or bad) I may otherwise have never encountered.

I ended up here mostly through sheer randomness. My daughter was born 2 weeks before CoH released, and would hardly sleep at all unless she was held so she was vertical instead of laying down. So, once I got the game, I spent many a long night wandering around through Paragon City with her strapped to my chest so she'd sleep. I picked Champion because I just liked the sound of it, seemed less pretentious than all the other names. I met a few great people, got in with some good crowds, met some more great people and I've pretty much been here ever since.
