Can we get IW for widows and sleep proc fixed finally please?

To widows IW:
thank you devs for fixing mez shields in pvp (mez shields that provided KB res wouldn't get supressed while being held/stunned/slept etc), however i think VEATs got forgotten again. Widows [Teamwork.Indomitable Will] info says:
10000.00% resistance to knockback on self Ignores buffs and enhancements unresistable

Yet, even after mez shields fix widows still get hold/KBed like before. So can we please get IW fixed too? Thank you.

To slep proc:
i think i reported this issue a while ago, i also showed to so called pvp dev on test server how to utilize it yet it is not fixed, after more than half year :/
The way it works: sleep proc (chance for placate) has 30% chance to placate target. Problem is, since confuse, KB and hold/stun/sleep have own timers, timer for sleep proc always starts new.
In simple language, if you switch between KB and sleep attacks you get 100% chance to placate target (example psi blasters attack chain). It was proven, i even showed combat logs to that pvp dev. Fixed? NO :/

I understand, devs are very busy making another dual blades (dual pistols) and walk emotes, but fixing some bugs would make some players happy too. Thank you for reading.

Y'hear that, BABs? Two more bugs for you to animate away! And during your holiday, no less!

Seriously though - The Walk power was something that the Lead Animator did in his spare time - it didn't take any development hours, and as Castle once said - I don't think you want BABs messing with the power system... The code would probably never compile again.

Now yes, some of the people working on Dual Pistols are on the Powers team, and yes, they are the people who would be looking at the bugs you've listed, but seriously, just how high on the priority list do you think that two minor PVP-only bugs are? Not only that, maybe the bugs are easy to find/replicate, but like the drop rate bug earlier this year, everything on the code end seems to be correct, so they can't find the source of the bug.

Go file an in-game bug report. That will put it into their support queue, and when they can get to it and know how to fix it, they will. Angry rants here that your personal favourite bug hasn't been fixed will not solve the problem.

EDIT: Oh, and since neither of these issues relates to a new feature in the testing stage on the Test Server, but rather to existing bugs on the Live Servers, this should be in the Technical Issues & Bugs forum, a couple up from here.

We have a Dev that is our Go To person for bugs, Arbiter Kim. Send a PM and it will get looked at. That's not a guarantee that it will be pushed to the top of the development cycles to be fixed in the next patch, issue or even year, just that it will be looked at and evaluated.

And FYI, they HAVE been fixing some bugs in the patches. It just seems not to be the two items you want fixed immediately.

Sometimes, even though they see a problem the WHY of it happening and the HOW of fixing it without breaking other areas are not always readily apparent.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

I know BAB is animation dev, it was meant as a joke.

And yes, i realize they would rather spend their time making RPers happy and create another dual blades but as far as i remember devs are not suppose to favorable just one group of the players, but yeah i am not allowed to talk about it on boards.

Besides, they fixed mez shields for all ATs but epic (khelds and veats) so i doubt it is that hard to find how to fix IW and khelds mez shields.
This bugs are over year old, idk how you can call it immediatly.

Yes, i talked with Arbiter KIm about it but first i had to explain him how game mechanics work before i could even start about bugs, sadly :/

I agree i should have posted it in other section, forums are still confusing for me after they got i13'ed. I apology.

Sod IW.....just fix widows in PvP full stop will do. How many other AT's get nerfed into nothing in PvP...not happy after 750mill and 700+ merits spent on them to find that elude in pvp adds 10% to def and Mindlink 5%, and my other defences get nerfed to insignificance.................................... .........rant over

Just dropping in;

IW is completely bugged, KB not being the only issue, if looked at, it would see a slight nerf, but the bug is there, has been there and though it isn't game breaking, the next one is.

The sleep proc in a Psy/'s attack chain; PvP-wise; is not minor, it is largely broken, and makes it the T1 blaster duelist bar none if used correctly. Simply look at the zones, the predominance of the set is overwhelming simply becuase of the bug.

IF a set is made overwhelmingly, becuase of a certain slotting, in a certain power, used in a certain way. It is broken, not slightly mind you, but pretty largely.

(Eww, supporting rei, Im'ma have to wash my hands after this post)

A couple of things:

1) Just because you point out a bug, even directly to a Dev, doesn't mean the fix is obvious, nor easy. If it's not fixed yet, it's more likely they're still working on it, rather than just ignoring you, like you've suggested. Paranoia, or a persecution complex, doesn't help anyone accomplish anything.

2) People, even you, are allowed to talk about perceived slights in certain areas of the game. Unfortunately, those conversations devolve into making false claims about the Devs' motivations, false assumptions about how they do their work (or how they should do their work), taking conversations out of context and extrapolating conclusions that no sane person would make, given the information, etc. Rather than continuing to bring up topics that are guaranteed to cause problems, why not just PM the appropriate people, and let them do what they do when they've got the time and resources available to take care of it.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

1: I doubt we were, in any way, creating paranoia in any sense of the word. We don't beleive the devs REALLY hate us/ignore us or anything of the such. If we REALLY beleived it, why would we be here?

2: The Widow Mez Shield is a "simple-fix" seeing as how they have ALREADY implemented it. This would be different if the devs confirmed or denied that widows will be receiving the KB prot, and if it is at all meant to get the KB prot in the first place.

3: Please try to contribute to threads instead of basically telling us to leave? Boards are public, and unfortunetly, our concerns about bugs are as legitimate as others are.

4: This MAY be in a wrong forum, however it does allow for someone to denounce the problem simply due to the reason.

5: We have sent it to the "appropriate" people. Many people have sent it. Many people have sent it multiple times. We tend to avoid other forums becuase people tend to make posts resembling yours, saying we are incapable of PMing, waiting or understanding.

Stereotypes and sipping the haterade is bad yo.

If you've done everything you've said was done, why start yet another thread about it? That's the whole point of my response, which apparantly missed you.

Beating a dead horse is bad, yo.
