Thugs are one of the two MMs that can use the Recharge intensive ones, Through Gang War. (Necro is the other, apparently.)
As for traps, though...As you've noted, nope, sorry.

Thats what you take gangwar for. Seriously. I took it at 30, put one slot in at 31, and dropped in both recharge uniques. If you decide to slot out gang war you can drop in five of the level 50 recharge pet IOs and the aura from the other, and get gang war to a respectable recharge and accuracy. My gang war recharges in like 3.5 min, a respectable emergency button for when both enforcers somehow bite it and the pets start dying fast.

Yep, if you don't care about heavily slotting Gang War for accuracy and recharge you can drop both sets of +resist and +defense IOs in it without sacrificing any slots on your main pets. Or you can just toss in the Recharge Intensive auras and have plenty of enhancement for Gang War itself.

Hey guys. Happy Festivus to all. I'm loving my new mm so far, he's sitting at lvl 11 right now, and I'm going over the procs I'll be putting in for pet effects. There's one for recharge intensive pets from the call to arms set.
Now I realize that mm pets are not recharge intensive pets like Fluffy or Fire Imps, but my secondary is /Traps. Is it possible to toss into my acid mortar or seeker drones and get the effect? Or do they not count as RIPs? <---(lol, not the weak-a** npcs)
