Any Advice? DB/WP

So I finally found a scrapper that I like, in the DB/WP category. Currently, my scrapper is sitting at level 30. I'm about to have a week off and plan to take her all the way to 50 during that week. So, I'm trying to work on a build for her. Posted below is what I came up with, based on the guides I've read and my experience with IO's. I'm not phenominal at building, which is why I am turning to you all now.

My goal was to increase recharge, and regen, and defense. I think I did ok with it... but I don't know if I'm missing any holes here or not. For those of you more familiar with the numbers aspect, can you tell if this build would perform well? I mostly team, but have enjoyed soloing with this toon. I even have a slight itch to think about turning her into an AV killer... maybe... lol

I know that quite a bit of these IO's are highly priced, but I have a pretty good supply of influence to work with...

Any feedback on my build would be greatly appreciated!!

EDIT: And I know the levels of my slots are a bit ridiculous... I haven't re-arranged this for levelling yet, just plucked down slots where I wanted them to end up. Once I figure out my final slotting I'll fix it for levelling/exemping.

Overkill, not necessarily a bad thing, but in my opinion you're trying to hard on defense and endurance. If you team mostly, then working that hard on defense isn't really required. I'd drop the kinetic combats and grab some Crushing Impacts. That will get you more HP's (a good thing for a regen based toon to have), better accuracy and a faster recharge. I'm not even sure about those Oblits, you could probably do better with a mix of eradications and sciroccos. And lastly, is there really a need for PP with both Stamina and QR? I never saw my endurance bar move much on my WP scrapper on his fast run to 50. I'm guessing this is a natural concept character so you've avoided travel powers, so something like the Pyre mastery line would be out. I've always liked SoW and the Leadership pool, but thats just me.

I'll put together a build later if I get a chance, good luck to you though, definitely should be a fun combo.

Endurance, yes. With your set up Phys Perf is overkill unless you are taking it for the Regen and not the energy. In that case you might be able to drop Stamina?

In my opinion CP is totally superfluous when Focused Accuracy with a single default slot provides over 60% on demand ToHit Debuff resistance? You want FA for ToHit Debuffs.

As for defense, I have to totally disagree with the above poster. You are on the edge of great defensive effectiveness. If anything I would love for ways to get up you f/c and e/n defenses a bit. Fire based groups in particular are going to give you issues on the higher settings since they don't tend to bunch in your +Regen field (ranged) and you have no resistance against them.

I went overkill on edurance because so far at 30 with QR and Stamina slotted, my endurance still drops out. With Hasten on, and not slotting my powers for end redux, I'm cycling through attacks fast, but run out quick. It's not so bad teaming wise, especially with a kin, but I tend to run low none the less. Plus, I had all the powers I wanted and had two slots left so I went with it and said "Meh, never have to worry about that!" lol

And yes, I skipped a travel power because it is a natural themed toon. With Ninja run/swift/and sprint going, I have no problems navigating the long distances.

Even though I team, I tend to like to build my toons as if they were soloers so that I'm not relying on other people to keep me alive. If I'm on a team with buffs, it's just more gravy. But if I'm not, I'm still ok. I do a lot of PuG'ing so I never know what the other people on my team are bringing.

As to CP Vs FA, I didn't realize FA provide to hit debuff as well. I have never used either, and just saw on Mids that FA only provided a 5% to hit buff unslotted and didn't think it was that worth it. But, now that I know, I'll swap that back around. Thanks!

Here's the build I'm currently working towards on my DB/WP.

Mid's doesn't tell you how the +END procs effect your END recovery...but with three of them...

Currently I lack half the Numinas, half the Kinetic Combats, Half the Purple IOs, 1 Performance Shifter Proc, and both the PvP IOs. :/ Have all the LotGs though and everything else

That said...I'm trying specifically for lvl 33 IOs...sooo...it's a bit harder for me to get all the IOs I'm trying for.

I also go into the PvP zone trying to get lucky with a PvP drop for the 2 PvP IOs, but they can easily replaced with other IOs.

Don't want Focused Accuracy? Replace with 1 slotted Conserve Power, and move the slots. I'd suggest moving 3 of those slots to Boxing for more +S/L Defense.

My goal was to beable to run BF->AV->Repeat, and have the END to run the AC.

So far, it seems I have it. The missing Performance SHifter should just make that cake.

Yea, with all those Oblits, you're AoE attacks must suck down the endurance fast.

Well then, if you like the defense, I'd try to two slot BF with Rectified Reticle and also pick up Focused Accuracy and do the same with it. That nets you another 3.75 in S/L defense. I wouldn't run FA much though, it's the ultimate endurance hog weighing in at .78/sec. unslotted. That would only compound your endurance woes (hard to believe a Wp toon could do that even with PP). =) I'd also look into three slotting stam and QR with performance shifters and the performance shifter +end as mentioned above. That would get you +hp's and also +run speed which would be an added bonus for you.

Posted

I didn't even think about the Rectified Reticle in there. That's got my S/L def sitting at 38.9 now. I switched around PP and three slotted it with Numina's for the + regen and hp, and I changed out to the performance shifters like you suggested in Stamina and QR. Regen is at 754% netting 70.9 HP per second and recovery is at 3.98 per second.

Of course, I still have to get the accolades and hit 50 for this, but so far I think I'm liking this build to work for!

Anything else anyone can see, or would do differently?

Blinding Feint is WAY underslotted.

BF is the continous +DMG/+ACC of Dual Blades.

Do you plan on using the Combos? It's looks like you might be going for the Sweep and Attack Vital Combo's, but you under slot Power Slice from the Sweep combo.
