Present Mobs and leavers

Okay, just mildly annoyed with the *REDACTED* who open presents in a zone then abandon the mobs that spawn.

Would there be some way to label these mobs with the player's name, like pets, so that people KNOW who left the mob?

The ironic thing is that those mobs must be killed to spawn a Winter Lord, unlike in past years. They changed the mechanic.

The people doing it are probably going for the present-opening badge, or just trying to get Nice presents for candy canes.

Also: The preset will respawn regardless of whether there are Winter Horde standing there or not. If the present respawns and there is a player within range, the Winter Horde will simply die.

In short: If there are Winter Horde standing there, alive, there's no present anyway.

Right, but it gets kind of annoying anyway. Every event that leaves mobs is like this... But I guess trying to change people to be polite is too much to ask. I'm just glad that they respawn the present after a while instead of just standing around forever.

Cap Au Diable spawns level 17 Frostlings; but is a zone that supports level 10+.

You can't expect a level 10, 11, 12, or 13 to realistically be able to take out a single level 17 minion (and even a level 14 might have trouble with three at once). Even if they do stay and fight, they're likely to be defeated leaving their spawn of mobs standing there regardless; so there are other reasons mobs get left behind other then "laziness".

Is it annoying? Yeah, I freely admit that, but it's only a minor nuisance at worst.

The thing people need to remember is that the spawns can drop items too. You get more candy canes by cleaning up other peoples mess.

This doesn't help a lowbie present seeker when he runs across a zone-capped mob and goes splat.
