How do you disable the keybindings for the f6 - 10 macros?
/bind f6 "nop"
/bind f7 "nop"
/bind f8 "nop"
/bind f9 "nop"
/bind f10 "nop"
Note, some people may tell you to "/unbind f6", but that doens't really unbind the key, but unbinds whatever personalized setting you might have had for it and resets it to the default, which will still give you the "Run! spam".
On a side note, using "/unbind f7" is very useful in resetting the "Ready!" back to it's default of green chat bubble without the messy <> code.
I may have to try to nop thing. What I do to R and B, cause brb without enter first is very dangerous, is in my sig.
Worth mentioning, to further people's understanding of the system, since you are issuing a command string with no spaces in it, the quotation marks are not required.

Even with spaces, quotes aren't required. You can type in /bind F6 PowExecName Prestige Power Slide and it will work perfectly without adding quotes around it. Quotes are required for multiple commands separated by double dollar signs ($$), though.

Recently, when loading bind files, the bind did not work correctly after being reloaded from the file...
Example: (only part of a larger file)
Code:
ADD optionset disabledrag 1 SUBTRACT "optionset disabledrag 0"
Instead, I get an error message: "Unknown command: optionset disabledrag 1"
I put the "" around it like SUBTRACT has and reloaded the file again, an it worked fine again. I don't know why the quotes were missing to begin with. It was the only key in the file that was missing them. I've been using the same file for over a year now without issue. I don't know why that key suddenly stopped working. Everything else in the file worked as expected.
That said, now I always make a habit of using the "" no matter what. lol
/unbind f6
I set the tilde key "~" to auto run and "nop" the "R" key. I find it rather challenging to accidentally hit the "~" key.

As Master-Blade pointed out:
So that advice is only specifically useful for "cleaning" the bind up, but not unbinding a default bind.

I hate when I sometimes fat finger these keys when I spam inspirations resulting in alot of "Run!" spam. Is there a way to change these to "not set" as the key binding?
