Costume Switch Animations
First off, welcome to the game and the forums!
However, I'm not a fan of anything being origin-locked. There are many RP reasons why a tech-origin character might want something more magic or natural looking, especially in something as small as a costume change emote.
New costume change emotes? Sure. Tying them to origin? I'm going to have to vote nay.

I personally would love costume emotes specific to origins, but as already seen a lot of people hate there being anything in the game they can't get.
Thus, I would propose that any character will start with the only animations of their own origin plus the existing ones, and be able to do missions for the other origins to unlock the respective animations. Said missions would be available at level 20 (That being when you get your first alternate costume anyway, unless you use halloween salvage). For heroes from the origin contacts in City Hall in Atlas Park, and for villains... I'm not sure. Possibly the five contacts used for the origin of power arc, or probably easier would be to create new contacts because adding new missions to existing contacts at a different level might be harder than it looks. For heroes an additional mission would be available from Sunstorm or Shadowstar to unlock the kheldian animations. Maybe even make a kheldian contact redside for villains to get them too, though that might require a little poking and prodding of the plot around kheldians in general to not be a bit out of place.
Conceptually, it would work as your character learning skills or acquiring equipment or whatever from another origin. No reason a character whose original powers come from technology can't pick up a magical artifact or learn a handy spell, for example. It's just a little harder because they have less experience with that sort of stuff.
This way, they'd be something your choice of origin matters for, but you're not locked out of having science animations just because you're a mutant. You just have to do a mission first while actual scientists get them for free. (And have to do a different mission if they want yours in return)

But, I thought of a good idea: Costume Switching Animations unique to a player's origin.
I've seen the animation for it now, and i think that one could apply to magic, but I have some ideas for others.
Technology: Body fades into data stream, like the Matrix, then fades back to player's new costume.
Natural: Player's character looks down, pulls at costume and tilts head a bit, indicating the change is wanted, looks around, then a phone booth falls from the sky. When it lands, the door opens. they go in, the booth shakes a bunch and glows bright then a bright flash. they exit the booth in the new costume. The booth then dissappears.
Magic (My Thought): Player's character waves their hands around like casting a spell. Their hands start to glow and then gradually their whole body. Then, a swift jerk of their hands, a bright flash, and their costume is changed.
Any ideas I have will be added. Plz, make your comments!
